What drew you to Expansions, Hyperspace & Metaphysics?

PP, I wouldn’t call the internet evil. It can serve as positive or negative experience; it’s how you use it that matters. I think the net is great because I like having info on anything that I think of at my finger tips.

VD, You’re probably right about trying to work on a oversoul level first. I’ll have to try that on a person and see how it works. :)

True---I guess what I meant in my case is though it does give me a great chance to meet with people and keep in touch with friends but at the same time it keeps me (well I allow it to)more isolated from physical reality and I feel like its an addiction that I have trouble escaping in order to deal with my real life. How do I break out of this need to be on it all the time? I feel sometimes shaky and nervous if I don't go on it...and also..if not on the internet..then the tv..but I dislike triggers..anyway such is life..i gotta release abandonment victim mentality....its hitting me hard now...like anything could just leave me....even this pewter...*shudders*

That’s a tough one to answer, maybe ask your oversoul about it. Maybe your oversoul wants you on the net for some reason.  There might be a higher purpose for being on the net. Like look at all the good that the Swerdlows and others are doing by being on the net a lot. I use the net a lot but I don’t feel that I’m escaping anything that I need to experience. I wouldn’t worry about being on it a lot if you feel that you are benefiting from surfing the net.  :)

Well, what it is is that I would like to be able to get my school work done on time without stressing out about it as the deadline approaches(Self punishment), feeling guilty and exhausted afterwards...i would also like to exercise so I don't feel flabby, unfit and unhealthy(i used to play tennis and dance nearly everyday of the week during my high school years!!..then when I hit college, it was mostly only dancing and lots of walking..now its not much at my new college which I can change).
The great thing about it is that I was able to write emails to all my friends who went to other countries(part of abandonment..and overcoming it) and returned..but they still live far. Also, the other part is meeting lots of people on sites such as myspace..and reading great articles and postings on Expansions. I also write journal entries whenever I get the chance to..and my friends and I have chatrooms where we can just let loose. Also, AIM allows me to talk with a few people off of HCF about our lives and how we can apply more hyperspace/oversoul work in it..a push...and some advice. I need to break out of laziness.

So those are the pro's and cons about being on the net.

Anyway, the way you presented being on the internet made me look at it without feeling so guilty...I should ask oversoul about it. :o)

I'm so glad the weather is getting warmer and beautiful here now..because I can go lay on the grass and hang out with stray cats lol.(I think I have lion frequency..if not I hang out with my cat alters or something..or maybe I have feline genetics).

Somethings to be happy about!!!

btw...I've been meeting people on this myspace thing..hint hint..lol...and if you guys have AIM...we can chat in case of emergencies(I desire to support and be supported by hyperspacers!!),etc....and erm...we can reach out to people on other spiritual chat forums....

i wish spiritweb was there because it was such a great site....there are denominations of it only...

It sounds like you have a equal amount of pros and cons. I can see your dilemma and I’m not sure what to say because it is best for your oversoul to decide what’s best. For me surfing the net has benefited me. I grew up before there were PCs and the internet and it was like the dark ages compared to now. Information was hard to find and you had to search underground publications for the truth. It’s a very slow way to find out anything. Expansions probably wouldn’t even exist without the internet. The net revolutionized the information world. The truth became freely available at your fingertips. It also made it possible for like minded people from all over the world to find each other and become friends. I’m sure you know how hard it is to find like minded people in your area. So it’s nice and beneficial hooking up with like minded people on the net. So I see the net as a good thing and I would hate to step back into the dark ages and live without it.

I don’t remember much about Spiritweb, why did they close down their site?

Hi everyone - like Richard I grew up long before the net and I find it fantastic.  I've had to wait a long time to have access to it.  Before, it was get in the car, drive to the library, search the shelves and lists, maybe request the books and then wait - and this was for mainstream stuff.  When a private library became available (with alternative and esoteric info) I would read and read (to the neglect of work often).  TV can feel addictive (in the past I could get very uptight if I missed my favourite shows) and TV is not interactive like the net.  We can swap so much info so quickly now and Stewart's work can go all around the world in an instant, as well as each one of us passing it on when we feel the opportunity is right.

PP, don't feel guilty about being on the net a lot,  loads of people are, I think it's human nature to want to do something we really like constantly, no matter what it is.  For me, it's really cool to talk to people I've never met from the other side of the world and best of all it helps me in my search for explanations of life and humanity and why we think the way we do.

Hello Everyone again

I got stuck a bit in my study at the University I was not able to follow for the last month or so.

To answer the question from the stater of this thread. It is basically an ongoing search for THE TRUTH. Once you start to realize that the world around you is not what we are being"taught" over our lifetime, than you start looking for answers.

About 5 years ago it came to my attention that things are not as they appear to be.

I have no idea if you realize that this information and techniques are just incredible. If every human on this plane KNEW them , the world would be  much different place.

Although I have been unable to learn SS techniques so far, I will not give up. I do not know how long will it take me just to learn the basics, not even talking about the more advanced stuff.

Thanks everyone for your contributions.
