What have you found useful from Stuart Swerdlow,if anything?

Hi ,

Looking around the forum I see a lot of criticism of him and wondered if there was any positive stuff. ( or not)

I just ordered  "healers handbook" and am wondering if I wasted my money...;)

Thanks everyone.

I have no clue if any of his material is valid.  I've kept tabs on Stewpidass since around 2001

I also have seen no things on the internet praising him. Actually, all I see online and from the past is insulting material. I HAVE NEVER READ OR HEARD OF ANYTHING PRODUCTIVE THAT HAS BEEN BECAUSE OF EXPANSIONS. NEVER. After a worthless consultation with him, I tried talking to him on myspace since he wouldn't answer me on his email[which he said I could ALWAYS mail him], ..he told me it was for networking, not messaging. Whatever the f___ that meant. So therefore to me, he's a raggedy trashass junkie mumbling crumpled up garbage bag of a person

About the only thing that is useful in the healer's handbook is the use of colors and spinning your chakras. However he is the only one that uses a brown chakra color. Most people I have talked to said not to use it.

I've not read a thing about the man, or his work ... except on here. However, BROWN? For a chakra color? Whenever I do energy work for people and the color brown is in their aura (which in my experience is not often) ... the feel of that energy seems/feels sticky. In fact, it feels sticky to the person too. Hmmmm.

Thanks..

Hmm, yes, the brown idea is very weird and unnapealing, I just wouldnt go along with that. Is it supposed to be 'earth'?

So could you tell me, are there are other methods of working with symbols for positive liberation of energy that you all think are good?

Or, in fact, is there a consensus here of what one might do which is effective to raise energy vibrations?

Hi minkton, I don't know much about working with symbols but it seems others here do. Do like to draw "Om" symbol. Saying it, chanting it, both energizes and relaxes. Tapping Qi Gong, Kripalu yoga, meditation, (or even baking and gardening, seriously) release a lot of blocks, let energy flow ... for me anyway.)

Now that you've asked that question, I think I use photos and drawings the way others use symbols. Not sure. Have a collection of things that make me feel great when I look at them, handle them, think of them. Tee hee ... sometimes just a sniff of certain scents (curry powder or cinnamon) gives me more energy.

How to "raise energy vibrations?" Not exactly sure what you mean? Becoming more conscious? More aware? Just got the book, "The Power of Twelve" by Anne Brewer. Seems like it promises to help raise consciousness/vibrations but I've not read enough to know yet. : )

Wow I posted this exact same question yesterday too. Glad to see you are getting more of a response. I guess my answer is in this thread.

If you are interested in archetypes the best person to talk to is MC. A lot of stews archetypes are incorrect or incomplete. MC can steer you on which ones that work.

Thanks for the answers. Thanks warbler, "raise energy vibrations" is what you do with qigong and meditation.. love the cinnamon sniffing! I also love cinnamon, and lots of wonderful smells around really give a lift, I love lemon, every time I smell it I go into delight.. fresh lemon... aah! And I am interested in more long lasting and deeper shifts, and learning about them.
Richard, how do we ask MC, specifically? (pm him and ask if he would contribute to this thread, for example?.. dont want to be a pest as soon as I've arrived..:?)

Hi minkton ... and yes to lemon! Fresh lime does that for me too - thanks for the reminder.

If you find out how to raise your energy vibrations so they are longer lasting with deeper shifts, I'd like to hear about it. For me, awareness comes through movements like waves and valleys. It seems the valleys give tons of information and the waves let me process it. Alas, my tendency is to want to process all the time and that makes the valley-times more difficult! I have to remind myself that the waves NEED valleys or else they couldn't be waves. And if this makes any sense at all, then I'm laughing. Oh heck, I'll laugh even if it doesn't make sense. : )
