What if the Universe's secret, is that there is nothing when you die?

I do believe in nonphysical being and ghosts and ethereal type topics, but I wonder that , besides all that anyway, what if there is nothing anyway?

What if DMT creates near death experiences? I don't want to believe this, id rather believe that maybe DMT tunes the nerves to receive frequencies from nonphysical realms

People sometimes say, why am I me? As in, why am I in this body, as if they have a soul?
But what if the answer to that isnt  so special?

Also, reincarnation isn't that "relieving" of a topic if EVERY TIME you get born you remember nothing, and it always seems like there is 1 life 

Why do we have to live in a Universe where there are biological characters?   That's not special, everything is nasty. Imagine a bug splat on a windshield.. that is you and me too

I'm pretty sure that the astral realm is real, but if I were going to die right now like by execution , I WOULD wonder if this it it, if my mind is going to disappear into nothing, and then when I don't exist that will be it

Why do we have to live in a reality where IT VERY MUCH SEEMS that there is nothing after death?  Why do we have to be like plants, with cells and vessels, and when you see dead plants,  we are just like that
