Where I'm At

How do you hide your feelings?

It's easy if you try

You close your eyes and nod your head

And try hard not to cry

Your insides soon grow dark and cold

Your smiles are all a lie

You pray that someone rescues you

Before you start to die

Oh God, DreamTime - is that how you're feeling right now??

I am wrapping you up in pale pink, gold and lavender to soothe your emotional state.

I do understand though.  Recently I have been finding so many ways to beat myself up inside for not being perfect enough.  I also have a reaction to people making nice comments about me, thinking they really don't know what levels of bitterness and heartlessness are hidden away inside.  It is a painful process to move thorugh all of this.  Sometimes I feel I will split from all the energy I am releasing.

Keep your head up and remember it is all an illusion.  Together we can move forward into new ways of being.

Someone told me the other day that I hide and that my dresscode/appearance is a disservice to the world by me "hiding". They said I should no longer be polite and be a b**** and be more assertive and express what I really feel instead of covering it with words. However, I have always been afraid of hurting people. I am afraid of what I can do with my words and actions if I act them out fully. I know we are supposed to send things up to our oversoul. I feel like I am sometimes coming out of my shell but slowly...I am  breaking free of my chains..but slowly...

I can relate to what you said Dreamtime...HUGS

I like that poem. It's true. :)

It shows perfectly how you stop the flow.

I hope you are better now.

Maybe it is just waiting for the guardian of the exit to let it pass through? :)

Yes, I wrote that poem during one of my "depressed" times...luckily, I only have a few of them like this.  I'm not usually a "poem" person, I like writing longer - like books. V-Wink

Yes William, this time of the year is not very good for me...and it's only just starting.G-Sad

Avatar: sometimes I think my Guardian Angels have given up on me...they can't take my stubbornness.:shok:

Purple Parrot: I know what you mean.  I hope you keep coming out of your shell in the good way.  And by the way....I am all cried out - at least until the next time.

Kris: What did you mean by "waiting for the guardian of the exit to let it pass through?" V-Huh

Thank you everyone for your comments.  It really means a lot to me. L-Smile
