past lives, after life....
#41
Two of my three dogs are named Igor and Froaderick, just for this exchange from that same movie  :unibrow: :

Igor: Dr. Frankenstein...
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: "Fronkensteen."
Igor: You're putting me on.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen."
Igor: Do you also say "Froaderick"?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No..."Frederick."
Igor: Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkensteen"?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: It isn't; it's "Frederick Fronensteen."
Igor: I see.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor.
[He pronounces it ee-gor]
Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor."
Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?

This is how all wars begin, each person here must accept that each individual has their own belief system to be able to conquer each day, this is the common thread that all humans have and tolerance is part of every belief system in life. My Christian friend tells me that astrology is part of the devils work, however I do not take offense to his claims because my beliefs provide no doubts. Therefore, all of you who have a need to prove your beliefs or argue are really only surfacing the inner doubts that you have, because what you are doing is establishing separation of the human race and helping the NWO. Tolerance is the law of God, Jesus, Allah and Buddha, god-mind and the universal laws.

Your belief system creates you to ‘believe’ and no person can come along and prove otherwise, that is the one and only commandment of faith.

Did you ever wonder why your friend needed to tell you that astrology is part of the devils work? Why couldn't he/she just accept that you have your own views on this world, and your own beliefs? In my experience, Christianity is a rather agressive relligion... I don't want this misunderstood, so let me explain a little. In Catholic church, parents baptize their children when they are baby's. So the baby clearly cannot choose whether or not he/she wishes it. i see that as an act of violation. No one should have something forced upon them. What's more, upon baptism, the priest who baptizes the baby puts a cross on the baby's pineal gland. That seems a little too ritualistic to me, and a little too illuminati to be coincidental... In a cathedral in the city i live in are Illuminati symbols (Pyramid and the eye) engraved on the confessionals and some masonic symbols are in the church too. If nothing, it at least suggests that they had something to do with all of it... I've seen a lot of Illuminati symbols in my city... :big grin: I guess they liked/like the city...:big grin:

Well anyway, i can't see how someone who belives in living modestly, more specificaly, the Catholic priest, can have a mercedes and a huge villa... I mean, where i come from the priests and nuns live off taxpayers money, and a lot of it, plus they get huge donations from various organizations, and donations from people. What does that tell you about a person who represents his faith, when he tells the people that when they pass out the donation basket among the people in the church that they don't accept metal money, just the paper money... In Croatia, the minimum amount of paper money is 10Kn, that's little less than 2 dollars... So, there's a 2 dollar minimum on donations? What? :puke:
They don't hold much appretiation for cellibacy either here. It's horrible, how low they can sink some times, and the people are blind to see it. Or they see it but refuse to acknowledge it becouse they are too scared of the wrath of god that the priests so persistently preach to the people.

I could rant all day about the church in Croatia, but that's not the point. Besides, the rant was about the "bad" priests... There are priests who "practice what they preach" here, and those priests i respect. I just hope there are more "good" moral priests in other places in the world too. I don't neceserrily have to agree with one belief system, but if the person who believes it acts acorrdingly to it, and not totally opposite of it, that I can respect. That was all about religion, and church. Now about belief of Chrstianity itself (relligion and belief are two different things), i have nothing against that. Anyone should belive whatever they wish to belive, as long as that's not forced upon them (with manipulation or brainwashing). I'm not saying everyone that belives in Christian God, and Jesus is brainwashed. You can brainwash people to belive in Buddha, Alah, Elvis or so they worship their refrigirator as a God. Try not to see this post as an attack on Christianity. The attack (if there was one) was on the church where I live and the relligion. Again i'll say, i see relligion and belief as two separate things. My father belives in god, and considers himself a Christian, but doesn't ever go to church, or has anything to do with it. He has his belief system, and i never saw him forcing it upon others, or defending it, because nothing enybody sais is going to take his belief from him. That's because he believes it, and he doesn't need priests or anyone to tell him right from wrong or to explain to him their interpretations of the bible, or their views on Christianity. I admire that on him. That's my view of a belief, and the rant more up the post is my experience with relligion. I wasn't trying to belittle anyone here.

I also found that there's little point of debating your beliefs with someone, because it usually turns into a fight, and one person trying to appear better as in childish "my daddy has a better car than your daddy". That's unnecessery. Nothing ever changes, both sides still believe what they believed before the debate, they just hate each other now. If you strongly belive in something, than no one can say anything to convence you otherwise. And it doesn't matter what you belive in. You don't even have to belive in anything. I no some people that belive that "this is all there is", and that when they die, they are lost forever, and are eaten by worms and maggots. I cannot se it that way, but you know, fine, good for them...

I totally agree!

Astrojewels, i'm sorry i used your friend to start this post. I didn't mean anithyng by that, it just seemed as a good place to start... No hard feelings. I have nothing against your friend, and anyone who's belives are same or simmilar to his/hers, as I tried to show in the post. The most important thing is tollerance, because as history showed us, intollerance is a very bloody and destructive alternative.

After all this i havent been able to comment the original topic. Past lives, afterlife...
I'll do that but not today, because it's about 4:30 in the morning and i really should sleep now...

Hey All,

I just saw this post and maybe I just skimmed this thread without fully reading the details but what I Got from the gist of it is,it is a reflection of what I'm exploring, facing and healing in my own soul--trying to unify myself in a harmonious way. I realized that my mind was scattered and in dissonance. To see the peace in the outerworld and inwards is what I know most of us try to achieve.
maybe I should ask myself, what parts of ourselves try to divide and conquer our own souls and minds and bodies, and how to make amends and peace? Perhaps this is the left brain.
i know this has been something many of us have revisited and maybe some of us came to terms with it in our cycles and levels of progress to our souls--
I have christian friends, i tried to have islamic friends(but i have middle eastern friends), i have jewish friends, pagans(wiccans), hindus, buddhists, tibetan buddhists, yogis--people of all different spiritual and religious disciplines.i try my best to be who I am while I interact with my friends. to challenge myself many times, i would hang out with people who had an opposing belief system and i'd try to find my peace with that.yes i really do love my friends who are christians and i was myself while exploring with them. but i wanted to explore their belief systems to see what i could learn from it without being a christian or wanting to convert to it.
and you know what? i sometimes find dissonance with people who are of the same belief systems as me. like i was studying the energy disciplines and explored hinduism and buddhism and i've had these differences to work out with..
even being with similar minds is not easy-you have to work it out all within yourself...
i know we all know that..
i know i'm talking to myself really
but i wanted to share this...
peace and love!!!!

DinkyMG,

There is no need to apologize, I am not easily offended, I agree with you on the religious side of things. My friends are friends because of their differences.

I learn more from those who hold a different opinion because I know that all energy (including people) that comes my way is a reflection of my soul-personality, and it is those who may hurt or ‘offend’ us that ultimately makes us strong as an individual.

It is such a waste of energy to be angry at someone, every person in the world has an underlying issue and that issue grows with age, it can make a person dark and this becomes the personality that others perceive. I know that beneath that cloak of darkness is something that will create smiles, and I always find that in a person because I love people.

Tolerance is the key to happiness.

Ah yes PP,

Self analysis is the greatest battle of all, to be able to look at you and think “I am like this or that” really is an accomplishment.

I discovered many eons ago that the people came into my life because of my own issues, so instead of judging or gossiping about those people, look at them and what you can learn about people in general and your own personality.

We all want to be liked and loved, but how we go out and get love is the challenge. The more tolerant you become, the greater love you receive, the less judgment you produce the less that is projected at you, it really is simple, you must give out what you want in return in a honest manner.

I have friend currently at university to be a psychoanalyst; she is a Virgo with a heavy load of Pisces in her chart. She is so insecure of her personality, so many doubts with attracting a boyfriend and just friends, she is so hard on herself and constantly is let down by others. How ironic is her chosen career?

Sitting with her and talking about her complex structure of planets, she now sees that she is a wonderful gift to life, her heart is as big as Texas and her issues with mum are the core to her problems, it is the core that must be found, the one issue that created the amplification of the mass of insecurities.

I asked her when first meeting her, how would she give others advice when her own life is so confusing? She has taught me many things about myself, just like you have PP and all the friends that I have thanks to Astrology. you gotta love life!
