A friend had a dream the other night and asked me to get some type of answer from it, but I can not, I just get nothing, so I was hoping to get some ideas or answers here.
This was the dream
My friend was dreaming he was asleep, he awoke to a very large spider on the wall, knowing that is wife is extremely scared of spiders, he went to catch it, but it feel to the ground, turned into a kitten and then the kitten hissed at him, leaped up and bit him on the face!
Then he woke up!

Well spiders are associated with weaving webs(traps) and poison and deceit. Because it was so large would indicate to me someone who has gone undetected. When he took notice, finally , and went to catch it , the deception was revealed . Being "grounded' revealed a cat( frequency) who feigned innocence(kitten) when discovered . He felt betrayed(being bit) .
He was awoke in the dark but his wife was asleep. mmm.....
??????
Hi Kaz,
In my one dream book it says that a spider may reveal a conniving individual or it may refer to a unique type of personal defensive measure. And then it says about a kitten: suggests an innocence of character; may indicate one who is helpless or at another's mercy.
Don't know if this helps.

Both are very helpful, not sure why but I just get nothing from this and I feel that also means something! Both answers make a lot of sense about the deceit and the innocence, and yes his wife sleeping does mean something, and being helpless at another mercy. I thought maybe he is being a ââ¬Ënaughty boyââ¬â¢ or the kitten indicates perhaps ââ¬Ëthinking about itââ¬â¢.
Thanks, you gals are greatââ¬Â¦

Btw... I meant to put a question mark after "( frequency)" in my reply.
".....cat (frequency?)'

There was no web, just a spider, he is very far from being creative, perhaps there is a change coming for them, they have just had a baby, so it is all a bit confusing as the theories just do not match their life styleââ¬Â¦I do hope the change is for the better as they are both great people.

The bedroom could represent a couple of things, a resting place or a time to get rest, but here since he was asleep and then woke up, it could mean that he was anaware of something, and when he awoke,he became aware of it, he recognized a danger or a threat. His wife could represent a part in himself that needs to be protected, it also depending on how he feels on his wife could represent other aspects within himself like trust, female energy, intuition, creativity, love, frienship, support etc., if negative then the opposite, etc.) Lets say he loves his wife and sees her as a friend, then in his dream, he needs to protect his environment, his way of thinking, his teritory, mind pattern etc. Spider in this case represents a fear of something,or a danger, this is how he saw it. when he approaches to reach the spider, it becomes a kitten. It could mean that his fear transformed in a way that make him think it is not a threat after all, but then at last moment, the fear stikes again and he is hurt. It does not have to be a real danger, it could be something that in his real life he sees as a danger. It is important that he think of the events that happend just before he had this dream. Dreams are usually connected to the present thinking and present events.
It would be also helpful to know some more details about this dream, like for example, was it a day or a night in his dream, was he sleeping with his wife, or alone, and on which side of the bed? Is there any colors he remembers? What color was the spider and the cat?
