2007 AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP TEST
#11
Thanks for the dictionery - I had a good laugh at so many - we use most of them in WA, although some are more from the other states.  As a young girl I was warned to "beware of the wise men from the East" e.g. don't trust guys from  the Eastern States.  We have a couple more sayings for people who aren't too smart (I'm being polite) - a brick short of a pack, thick as two planks.  There are probably more - this is a fun topic.  The Test was hilarious - so typical - and should be spoken with a flat nasally tone.

Now you know that's not true in all cases Reader.  I'm an Eastener and I'm the type of guy that even grandmothers like alot when I'm taken home, let alone mum.  But most of all I'm liked by the girls... problem is I can't keep my hands off them if I like them, and they never disapprove. :big grin: lolol

I just noticed an error in one of the 3 of my favorite sayings I listed above so I'll correct it here now:

It read:

Quote:They forgot my 3 favorites though:

{1st one is spoken fast without a break in between pronouncing each word}

"WennArounToChookersPlaceTheNightRightSeeeeeee"

It should have read:

"WennArounToChookersPlaceTheOtherNightRightSeeeeeee"
