The Chinese zodiac differs greatly to western astrology, yet they both provide awareness to self, and the energy absorbed during the life-stream. It is an individual choice to see it as valuable insight or useless ideology without any logic; however a world that consists only of logic, love does not exist!
The Chinese calendar consists of 5 elements and 12 animals placed in a wheel/circle and all driven by the powers of Yin and Yang, two opposing energies working in synergy; collectively gathering the energetic forces between man- animal- plant- the cosmos, which creates the rhythm of one- or the circle of life.
The element of metal is connected to the season of autumn, and the energy is cool and often crisp, metal affects the respiratory system, this element is communicative, romantic, yet with a tendency to wallow in the past, but most Tigers love the spring.
The Tiger is Yang, dangerously attractive, charming, possessing the ability to put others into a trance state, all tigers have a deep mystery within their eyes, the tiger rarely lives a dull life, it can be like a roller coaster. Tigers are naughty children, and adventurous teens, and most would disagree but they are considerably lucky.
They are also unpredictable, hard to read, however modestly kind and generous. If you do hurt the tiger in any form, you are considered enemy territory, and if you stomp on the tigerââ¬â¢s family, you will never escape the wrath. They can be a little overbearing to some, yet those who are lucky to see through the camouflage, there is no other creature that will love you more deeply or protect you with their entire essence. The Tiger is emotionally complex, and they will be sternly honest, and how you take it becomes your problem not theirs!
The Tiger represents the Yin/Yang with precision, the equal balance of tough/soft, loving/vengeance, generous/cold, sacrificial/self-indulgence, everything about the tiger will seem excessive, and that is why it is imperative to understand the energy surrounding 2010.
The energy of the Tiger provides you to take control, but you must be self driven, and not delve into melancholy, metal encourages money, but you must be vigilant, the climate encourages your heart to be open or it will become cold and impassive.
The energy of this year offers balance, but you will have to work continually to keep that balance, it does not/will not come easy, it is also a good year to move, change careers, and begin new projects, but Tigers are not great planners, they tend to be spontaneous, therefore the Yin/Yang energy is the accessibility to change something in your life, yet you must think it through, plan as much as possible and donââ¬â¢t be afraid to ask others for guidance- Tigers are exceptionally stubborn!
Tigers are intuitive, and can be amazingly psychic, yet they tend to be blocked by everyday life, it will be a ââ¬Ëcatch 22ââ¬â¢ year, and globally the world will be shaken by events and circumstances, and I do not want to enhance any negative thought because the opposed energy is for greatness, the greatness of the human spirit.
I wish you all a great Chinese new year and encourage everyone to become more than you are right at this moment.

Confucius said;
To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life; and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right.
