A Girl from Namibia Who Has a Special Bond with Animals
#1
A fascinating story of a girl named Tippi who has a special bond with animals!

In 1990, Tippi Degré – daughter of Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, a couple who chose to relinquish their lives in France for the freedom of nature in Southern Africa – was born in the newly independent Namibia. Her parents worked as freelance wildlife photographers and film makers. At 10 months the toddler was exploring the Namibian bush and desert.

For 10 years, Tippi wandered the bush bare footed, making friends with all sorts of animals: leopards, caracals, mongooses, baboons and snakes.

Her playground was the hills and the harsh desert tribe lands of southern Africa; as the family wandered the bush land, Tippi picked up all kinds of friends – like Abu, a five ton (28-year-old) elephant she calls “her brother”.

She would ride to a water hole on top of Abu and splash with the elephants of the herd, cuddle giant bullfrogs, lion cubs or meerkats; and became a grasshopper hunting specialist with the chameleons she was so fond of.

Tippi also befriended the Himba tribes people and the Bushmen of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries and hence gave her practical experience of real life in the bush.

Life as a bush baby came to an end after her last year of "freedom" in Madagascar when Tippi moved to the French capital with her mother six years ago. But both in fact and in her heart, she remained an African.

Amazing photos and videos can be seen at this link.

I didn't think that kind of bonding was possible in the wild life.

Kind of reminds me of Bindi...

Yes she even looks a bit like Bindi, but it reminds me of a cartoon that my daughter used to watch – the wild Thornberry’s, the parents were filmmakers from England and moved to Africa and the little girl, forgot her name, could talk and understand the animals because of a spell from a Sharman.

Wow...is that how she was able to talk to the animals? I watch The Wild Thornberrys when I go back to visit the grandkids. They like that show.

Yes, I thought that that Tippi looke like Bindi also. Hey, their names both end in "i" also.

Yes I did not think of that DT and I am sure it has some significance.
GB, I agree that kind of bonding can only be achieved if you actually live there and grow into the environment, Bindi for an example, her entire life so far is around wild animals that most children her age are taught to be afraid of, but through her father she has been taught the invisible language of animal-human connection, therefore her own Auric field sends messages that she is no threat, like the horse whisperer.
Steve Irwin had a very individual passion for all creatures and totally understood the importance of the eco system. He was and still is the most important person ever to awaken the globe to environmental consequence.

When you really stop to think about it, we all communicate with our animals in one way or another.

For example, if you have a dog or cat or even a horse, after spending some time with them, you know the signs they will give you when wanting to eat, or play or to go outside. You certainly know if they're sick also, so your intuition and telepathic powers are there for you to use, just need refining, that's all.

Astro, you know what I mean, there are times with the dogs that you know what they want without any thought or effort on your part - you just KNOW!

Yes I agree CS, and we have discussed animals many times, but I must add that children and animals do have a special connection, I am sure it has something to do with the innocence that the Childs Auric field resonates. My dogs are always being dressed up in baby clothes or put into prams and they love it, they are so happy when kids are here playing and get so excited.
