Thanks for the response Polly...fascinating topic.

On the totem animals : As a child, I never thought it odd that there were always strange animals around me eg i use to visit this old lady down the road that had this crow as a pet....it always drew me but i never thought it meant anything. When I started becoming more spiritually aware, i started noticing all the animals around me...especially birds....and i have always loved animals....then i went on a course to develop my intuition, low and behold, it was a shaman that presented it....and it got me thinking....so i started reading up on it and bought some books on animal spirits....once i started paying attention to it....it dawned on me that these were my messengers....but still i longed to be "normal" hahaha and to be able to get messages the way other people do.... and then i accidently discovered (!) this lady on the web that will contact your spirit helpers with one question only for free...and i asked about this. The answer that came back astounded me as i was told that I am receiving my messages but that I dont acknowledge it as i am trying too hard...and that they speak to me through dreams as well.... i have always received all the information and knowledge that i need through animal messengers and through my dreams....so i have also learned that one should stop trying to fit in with what is considered the norm and to just be yourself....by the way: I own 2 yorkies, one toy pom and one husky, 2 cats and a huge aquarium.....I always collect feathers where-ever I go....and at the moment I have an elephant that guides me....I see her constantly in my minds eye and she always lets me know what kind of a day lies ahead of me...!there is also the tiger that shows up in my meditations....as well as the owl....it makes life interesting...

Perhaps your name should be Animal Lady!  :D  Nice story.  You are right, you are already tapped into a stream of knowledge via animals.  I, too, am very in tune with animals.

 I, too, am a animal lover and a big feather collector...that is until I had too many and decided to give them back:D. In fact my e-mail has feather in it . Currently I have 3 horses, a dog and 9 or 10 barn cats depending. I have a gazillion birds as all the birds are my buds and their chatter is music to my ears.I can't imagine life without birdsong.

There are 2 black horses Shaman.  I have lots of pics but I don't have the means to post them without an incredible amount of hassle on dial up. Dial up is the only option in this area.Oh there is satellite but too expensive at this time. There are other horses that aren't mine. I board  them for a job.

I can't tell it was abstract, I was in one dream and then in another and they where very different in my mind but then again merging. They were doing something playin I couldnt focus my eyes, the knowledge came by knowing it, one of them in colours and feathers was telling it or it was the colective spirit telling me I cant really remember it in this place. I woke up knowing that animals are like when we people make creations on paper or sculpture but way beyond that cause high creative angel beings made them. They are alive but not in same way like humans. They are alive alltogether in some way... I like black horses, they are so shiny on sun :)

once as a kid I read a book icon_buch named "wild horse" and it was about freedom! it had a deep impact on me.

I also love the animal spirits, you should do some write ups with the different animals and share some of your knowledge with us, it is truly a fascinating topic and one we could all learn from.

 

Interesting dreams shaman, when I was a kid I read the book and then seen the movie the ‘black stallion’, and that had affect on me.

What dialup service do you use? I used NetZero with their accelerator and the speed seemed good for dialup. A lot of people who have wrote reviews for it claim that NetZero is the fastest of the dialups. The prices are reasonable too. The accelerate service is $14.95.
