Aquarius on the horizon
#1
The sun entered Aquarius on January 20. Aquarius is a breath of fresh air to all the craziness of the holiday season. You have to know an Aquarian to appreciate their individuality; they are serious and straight shooters. Ruled by Uranus, an air element with a fixed quality. Many Aquarians find difficultly dealing with emotional issues and approach life through logic, usually incredibly intellectual and have this bizarre way of thinking not just outside the square, but into infinity, however, Aquarians can be inflexible. That teacher back in high school that pushed you to your full potential was likely to be an Aquarian. Yes, they make great coaches of life.

What does this change mean to the rest of us? This cycle has increased positive energy for the next month.

We have an Aquarius – Pisces energy throughout this cycle, so the energy that resonates is for empathetic communication. If anyone has been having disagreements with loved ones, now is the time to sort through them as the energy will bring conclusion.

This is also a great cycle to buy something new for yourself; both these energies allow you to get a bargain for something you have wanted for awhile. The cycle will create new friendships and partnering that will be long term.

The only time this cycle may create issues - mars/Capricorn- consequently, it will be stubbornness and negative thinking that will stop you achieving through this cycle.

We have a good start to the year if you go with this current energy, the Pisces node will take it right through to the end of 2007.

Pisces are the dreamers while Aquarians are the doers, so new job, car, house, whatever you want you have until February 19 to structure that visualization in your mind, if you are dedicated and serious your current reality will change.

It is the only time of the year that you can be emotionally strict, there is a need to stay neutral, going off to one side will amplify emotions, and the other side will bring lack of emotional understanding. This cycle is for foundation and creation, and as always entirely up to you how you utilize the natural energy and your internal power.
This is a beautiful spring day

I know what it's like to live with an Aquarian. I gave birth to two of them - my two oldest girls...and they both love the song "Dawning of Aquarius," and they were the only two that were born in California (I don't know what difference that makes, but I put it in anyway).

Yes Richard,
It is a good time for many things, I also have planned to take advantage of this small window of positive time, I just hope time goes nice and slow so I can fit all these things in!

DT,
Two Aquarian daughters, wow! My father is an Aquarian, and also the oldest in his family, many Aquarians are first born into the family. Once you understand them, they are a pleasure, but if you only know them on a work-relationship or as an acquaintance, and have no idea about behavioral patterns then you may take offence to their way of communication. You are lucky to have two of them, do they get along with each other?

Yes, AJ...my two daughters are the best of friends. When they were little, there was some tension with Karen having to live under the shadow of Cheryl (Cheryl was super popular, super smart, etc), but Karen came into her own (she was also super super smart) and they grew up to be very, very close.  But all of my girls are friends with each other now that they are all grown up. My oldest daughter will be turning 30 on the 28th of this month, and my second will turn 28 on the 9th of February! My third will turn 26 in August and my 'baby' just turned 24 on December 29th.

DT,
Aquarian children are usually quick learners, they seem to be sponges for life and knowledge, and the majority of them do well at school without complications. You are a brave woman to raise four daughters. The friendship of your daughters is a reflection of your mothering skills, you should be proud of yourself for doing such a great job. I always enjoy it when you write about your girls, I wish more women were like you and love their children with so much energy. Surely the world would be a better place if this was so.

My husband is an Aquarius.    icon_love

Weird, I guess, that I married a serious, logical, straight-shooter, but I wouldn't trade him in for one zillion dollars.

I would say that is an unusual match silly, but as I have said many times the sun sign is not always the sign that is the directive energy of a person. So obviously your husband must have some water signs in his chart for you to be compatible. My father is an Aquarius and my mother a Gemini, in the illusional astrology of the new age they are a match made in heaven, both air etc, but in true astrology their overall planets just did not blend and it was more like a clash of the titans.
