At last report the balloon landed but the little boy was not inside. It is feared he may have fallen out.

Interestingly enough it is said the boy's father is connected to Scott Stevens .

They're searching the neighborhood now. They think he may never have gotten in at all.

Let's hope so...

  The father Richard Heene:

Richard Heene is lead investigator and a co-host of The Science Detectives, a documentary series investigating the mysteries of science. Since 1974, Richard has been working on various gravity propulsion systems using rotating magnetic fields, and has also become a successful inventor, with such inventions as the magnetic-driven bicycle, electricity-less lights for cameras, and a device that extracts the contents from containers in three seconds. After graduating in 1979, Richard began work as a carpenter in Texas, where he experienced firsthand the destructive results of the 1979 Waco F5 tornado. That event prompted him to begin researching tornadoes. Currently a director and producer, Richard has produced Box Time, a children's' educational video series. He also hosts his webcast radio show, the Science Detectives, and co-owns (with his wife) My You Me Productions, a video production and post-production facility in Colorado. Richard is currently producing a documentary based on this research.

It was also said the family had an interest in ETs and the parents appeared on a  TV show called Wife Swap twice.

They found the boy at his home. He wasn't in the balloon.

It sounds like it might have been a hoax.

I know the little guy got  sick this morning when asked pointed questions while interviewed on TV.

I sure hope it wasn't a hoax as it would be grounds to remove the children from their parents.

Breaking news on CNN just said the Sheriff doesn't believe it was a hoax.

Did you happen to catch the patch on the Sherrif's left arm? Right as seen on the TV screen? Looks like a pentagram with a white smiley-face in the center. Besides the facts coming out that they called a TV station before calling 9-11. The dad thought they'd have a helicopter to case it. And then the statement "I did it for the show."

Yawn.

I didn't notice the patch but the whole thing does seem fishy to me. I lean towards believing it was a publicity stunt.
