I think Australia has actually had it easy compared to the rest of the world, we are feeling this financial crisis, but not like the other countries, and Kevin07 (our prime minister) just handed out big bucks to everyone, anyone on the lower scale of earnings was given $1000, and the same for each child under 16, it was to boost the economy and to create spending, because the psychology of it is, those who do not have a lot of money go out and spend it, but those who do, keep it! we may pay for this later but we will have to wait and see.

So some families with a few kids just got received a deposit for a home, a new car or something they could not afford.

So if you target the lower earners, everyone suffers the small business owner, the stores and just everyone who is in the middle.
