It still could be coincidence.. there were many good universities around with different labs,, or maybe not

Well, you know what most people say: there are no coincidences. One of the craziest stories I heard is a farmer invented the TV. He got the idea from plowing circles in his field. I think they invent cover stories about how some things were invented.

HaHa cover stories...probably.
Who determines who gets credit for an invention and why is another one. Usually it's to make the agency who discovered something accidently seem harmless. "You see plebians?...all the trillions of subverted tax dollars and blood money CAN really be put to good use making silly putty, teflon and HIV".

Technology has been suppressed. Even today many advanced technologies are suppressed to the common folk.
We have physical evidence of technologies from the past that has been covered up.
It seems like there is a time table for technologies. The thing about our high technology
of today is that its really an illusion in that its not really physical...
Example. You have IPHONes and such things as computers. If our whole society is being pushed
to computer based technologies then you really have nothing physical.
ONE emp blast will eradicate all of this in a blink of an eye. You wont have anything physical like
an album of music that you could play on a phonograph. When you hold an iphon or such device all
your holding is zeros an ones. No physical items.

I watched a movie that made me think. All modern technology was just cardboard cutouts but the people saw them as real.

Interesting point, William. There's this paperless push to cloud storage that could be knocked out in one fell swoop - paving the way for history being written by the victors.
The controllers love to zero-out the physicality game in cycles. We seem to be in the end zone of another cycle.
Richard, the cardboard stand ins for technology = cardboard symbols of technology = virtual reality = stand in for reality = not real.
As George Carlin said, "none of this is good for us."

True enough and we become dependent on it - hooked in fact to the technology. For the most part a person is now UNEMPLOYABLE if they don't keep up with the latest innovations.
Predictably the older models are no longer able to be utilized...think tvs, telephones, computers etc.
All this planned obsolescence is a great money generator for tptb...cuz we're on the technology treadmill.

It has been the case for many years now that if you buy an electronic device like a computer, TV or mobile phone today, it is, albeit a little exaggerated, obsolete tomorrow, when you compare the devices of today with the devices of tomorrow. It is definitely a sort of a tredmill as well and a timetable that is involved. There must be a hidden agenda behind it.
It does seem the case in general that technology is injected into this world in cycles by the controlling force, whatever this force exactly is. Advanced technology comes and then for some reason goes, totally disappears again. That happened in the past. Ancient civilizations around the world like the Greek, Egyptian and Babylonian clearly show signs of highly evolved, advanced and sophisticated technology. And if the several accounts on the mythical land of Atlantis are fairly correct, that civilization also was highly technologically developed, that even, according to some accounts, was (partly) the cause that it eventually was destroyed.
All this technology and the knowledge and know-how that it involves must come from somewhere. Injected into this world by ...whom or what, and for what specific purpose? Are these really accidental discoveries and inventions by certain so-called geniuses, or is there possibly more behind it?
Technology makes life in this world in some way easier, more pleasant.... more attractive as many will confirm, but all the technology in itself certainly doesn't make you spiritually smarter, when asked me. It's all virtual, and I assume, all in all, more trickery to hold the people on to the gameplay in and of this world.
I don't think that those ancient civilizations that most likely did have highly advanced technologies became 'enlightened'; they were not able to create a paradisiacal world, were seemingly not able to create a sustainable society. Those societies came and went, and got buried in time. Only some remnants still testify of such once existing civilizations.
