Even health officials recommend everyone drinks in moderations. Could have prevented some deaths from heart or stress related diseases ;) I don't drink though.

If I had to choose between beer and wine for health enhancement...I'd do the red wine a day because of the flavanols and because I've heard its good for your heart system...also good because there are antioxidants in there. I remember when I was 3 or 4 years old, my dad had these parties with his friends and they'd drink beer..I always thought it smelled funny and I still am not sure why people like to drink it..I've had a taste..but no I have avoided gettting drunk cuz I was scared of what victimization could happen to me if I was intoxicated..so I always exerted self control by not drinking alcohol with friends. I do not try to look down on people or judge 'em cuz they like it..for all i know I'm sure peopel could judge me on my habits, tastes and preferences..to each their own!!
If I had wine it was usually with the parental units.
Anyway that is true--everything should be in moderation!
I have also read from the Study Guides that chocolate grounds you but then it could ground alters(unless I am mistaken) and so Silver Infinity is correct by saying to eat beans, meat and anything with proteins to ground oneself instead of chocolate...there are good things and bad things about cocoa!!

PP, I agree with you about the taste of beer. Itââ¬â¢s an acquired taste and at first the taste doesnââ¬â¢t have much appeal. It takes awhile before you get use to it. Kind of like how coffee is for most people. It taste nasty the first few times but after awhile you get use it. ;)
"I heard that tea is rich in flouride?"
swerdlow says there's not enough fluoride in tea to do any damage.

lol I re-read my last post and I just want to make a note of it here that I did not drink beer at the age of 3 or 4!!! I tried it like when I was around 20/21 and that was a sad story afterwards--a sip or two of it--and I still never understood why people go crazy over yueng ling and whatever weird beer names are out there. My main reasons for not drinking is that I was often around people who kept thinking I'd be a different person(alter) if I had some ethanol in my system--and they probably also wanted to take advantage of me and humiliate me too--who knows. I should have had a bottle of isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) or something and played a prank on 'em for thinking they could try to get me to drink and try to take advantage of me. Glad I was brainwashed since I was a kid to not drink OH cuz it causes cirrhosis and a hundred other issues!!
Its okay if people drink it..but personally I'd probably laugh at drunk people (at bars) cuz of their funny behaviors!
lol and I never inhaled either!!j/k(not a drug junkie but was making fun of Reptilian former pres W.J. Clinton--that was da dude who said it right?)
coffee--yeah i'm not much of a fan of it either(unless its flavored, sweetened--and only for special occasions)--it is okay for me to drink it once in a while to clean out my digestive tract...i get hyper off the caffeine..sometimes even paranoid..i'd look over my shoulder a few times in the jittery caffeinated state.
I'm addicted to tea...i drink so many varieties a day...i know thats not good for me---green tea and earl gray tea also make me antsy and restless.
alright alright..back to the point of the thread..it was on chocolate..not beer(not bear either)
The brands I like:
Ghirardelli, Godiva, Lindts, Hersheys Symphony Bars(even a regular dose of Hersheys is good enough for me), Ferrero Rocher, Leonidas, organic chocolate brands, and anything from Belgium or Switzerland..especially Geneva, Switzerland.--there are other brands too..// hrmm People have lots of chocolate on Easter, Valentine's Day and Halloween. In Switzerland, they have pounds of it a month--and by december(dec 12th I think), they have a special holiday where they make chocolate cauldrons(yes fishy isn't it?--this place has the World Health Organization headquarters and even the UN Headquarters office.....hrmmm:op ))If its chocolate and its in my sight--cheap or not..its usually gone soon after.
Maybe it will be a project to research these brands and trace them further to the companies...then the companies in the illuminati hierarchy..that would be an interesting thing to do...

Well here's another chocoholic to add to the list, from way back when I was very young. My favourite was mint chocolates, and honeycomb chocs - now I like almost all the different types, including choc drinks both hot and cold. Don't like beer or wine or spirits, maybe an occasional liqueur (sweet stuff again). The cheap chocs here in Aus don't taste right but we can get Swiss high % choc or local Dark Choc Blocks. There has always been controversy about cocoa products and health implications. Haven't seen much info about sources or production here.
PP - glad to see another tea drinker - I have many different types in my cupboard. Love coffee too, preferably with milk. Also like coffee liqueurs on occasion, and most cola drinks. Urk - could this be an addiction?
Just watched a TV progr. with a recipe segment on guess what? Delectable Choc Cake. There are always recipes for choc-based sweets in all the magazines and always choc specials every week at the supermarkets. Perhaps there is an ulterior motive behind all the choc advertising, apart from just wanting our money.
