Collective consciousness and the inauguration
#1
Posted by Dean Radin

This is a plot of odds against chance for data from the Global Consciousness Project on the evening before and day of the Obama inauguration. The red arrow points to the moment when the oath of office was being recited. This is an exploratory analysis, so it shouldn't be regarded as persuasive as a preplanned analysis would be. But still, the coincidence in time between what was arguably the single most anticipated moment by hundreds of millions of viewers during the inauguration, and the spike in odds at the same time, is quite striking. Further analyses of this event will eventually be posted at the GCP site.

This is an interesting site Richard, never heard of it before, and if they really can measure the thought energy of a collective then that would really be amazing, but I am sure that 70% of the world watched this occurrence, I know here they played to over and over just in case it was missed, his speech is very important to begin the mind pattern of thought toward Obama for a collective energy pattern.

I am curious that none of you from the US have had much to say about the new president, or have I missed it?

It’s too early for me to have much of an opinion on Obama but so far he seems to be doing ok. I’ll have a better idea about him in a month. :)

Interesting about the collective consciousness..I believe it exists..I just question if it could be measured scientifically...

AJ...As to your question about how US citizens feel about the new pres., One wonders: is the leader the elected official (Obama) or is it the "power elite" ?

Obama is new and charismatic so he does have many followers. There are also many who question his integrity. The cabinet he chose is not the best. Time will tell how this all plays out.

I always think outside the box, its just me! Maybe I am a weirdo… but anyway should you focus on the person leading?, for most of us know that position is a face for the public, what matters is the ‘collective energy of thought’ gathered through such an event, and that is positive, people in general love him, they love how he talks and seems to be more honest with his speeches than any other president, so that is the focus that I see.

It is the majority and not the minority, the majority detested G.Bush and what has happened to your country and the world through that thought pattern. He is young, and has a young family, not some old dude who can not relate to those outside his own backyard. he is a joke to the world, so that reflects on the pattern of your entire nation.

If the focus remains on him, then no change will come because you know that he can only be there because he has been allowed and has an agenda, yet the population of thought is outweighed and that is why I always believe the illuminati are not as governing as we tend to make out..

I'll give him 4 years, then make a decision on how well he's done.

One major sign for me already that is not good... he was slouching, in the chair, before he took the oath of office.

Millions and millions and millions of people watching him and he's sitting there like he's smoked two doobies and it's a NFL halftime break in his uncle's living room in Chicago.  Sit up straight for God's sake Mr. President!!!

I had a dream said Martin Luther, how would he feel seeing that some of those dreams have become reality?

I am surprised that only a few from the US have any comment or opinion.

I can't really comment on the new pres as he hasn't been in office for a week yet. Still there were some things I noticed about the event. It was 20 degrees out with the wind chill making it feel like 17 deg. That's pretty cold, yet he when he gave his speech he had on only a suit,no gloves, and wasn't cold. Everyone else there was freezing and bundled up. Just something I noticed.

I am cautiously optimistic, he has a huge mess to clean up that Bush left. It may take a few years to see the final outcome.:)
