So you have a realistic approach to life huh? With a quiet, somewhat serious demeanor too. And some incredible ambition to boot. We are very similiar you and I. As I have Saturn conjunct my Ascendent which adds a similiar energy. Cool stuff....:)

I do have a realistic approach to life but I somehow missed out on the ambition part. I don't really have a competitive bone  in my body much to my parents chagrin. My ambition is expressed in unusual ways I suppose. I have a more spiritual bent than material and that is where any ambition I have lies.In this world ambition is usually associated with the material.

 Oh and yes I'm usually quiet and serious . I'm still an Aries though and can surprise people with my playful and funny side when I let loose.

Thats interesting. Because with a Capricorn Ascendant the material plane provides the catalyst for your spiritual development. One-sided emotional life cannot elevate you to a higher spiritual plane any more than one-sided material ambition can satisfy you completely. Together they form the foundation from which all future progress emerges. It is from this synthesis that you can move into the nest turning of your upward moving spiritual path.

What do you mean by one sided material ambition?

I guess I should have reversed that. One sided emotional being first. Would that make more sense? Basically there must be a balance in both for your spiritual growth, you cannot deny the importance of material ambition, in doing that you are denying part of your own inherent energy.
I hope I am making sense here.

I cant say that I had such a dramatic turnaround like you did, I spent the first part of my life in a very violent suburb, so I was angry most of the time, and even as a child I would have these visions and experiences, and those around me would tell me I was a weirdo, in high school I asked a lot of questions, which did not agree with the teachers! They work on a stage, their performance is rehearsed…but when my first daughter was born, that probably was a big turning point because I never thought that I could love anything/anyone as intense, the whole birth thing was a spiritual awakening because life is amazing and it made me change in many ways.

I totally agree with what you are saying about charts, yes I do them professionally, but I had to have a bit of a break from them, I was very busy doing so many other things, and mine are more of a profile, they include a great deal about the mind pattern and soul journey, a bit different to others. I also adore astrology; to me it is the true science of our world. MN, you have well balanced placements, and work the node very well, I have alwasy felt that the node is the first energy that needs to be looked at.

Back to astrology?  I have a grand trine of Mercury ,Uranus and Saturn. Pluto trine Mars in the 12th house and  Neptune and the MC sextile Mars.Moon trine Uranus and Neptune conjunct the MC.
