Do you care that, at some point in the future, your body will be dead?

Exactly. You insist that right now, you're some immortal blob of light, and this is just a short chapter in your eternal life.

You are no different than an HIV virus, or a jellyfish, or a crayfish, or a giraffe. They will cease, just like you

I believe in the soul theory. Our physical body is a temporary thing and our soul lives on when the body dies.. Were you ever with someone who died and saw or felt a spirit leave the body and stay in the room for a bit. You can actually feel it. It happened to me one time. I know my soul lived in other bodies. I can't prove it but I just feel it and know it.

A1, I respect your opinion and questions even though they are different than mine. If you don't have the knowledge and feelings of spirituality and souls, one would have to question it. we all need to be tolerant of other opinions different than our own. People are so diverse, there is no way we can all agree. Thats what is so interesting about discussion on forums.  Hearing the opinions of others adds to our knowledge base.

BlueMoon, I have witnessed this several times . Three times this year alone. My mother, my grandmother and an aunt.

I haven't read it yet as I am waiting to see if it shows up on our local library shelves but there is a book titled Science Of The Soul by Kevin Favero.I am interested in his scientific perspective.
