Do you care that, at some point in the future, your body will be dead?

MC, Then you understand the peacefulness of death. I, too, am not afraid of dying. I came very close once and was not afraid. I felt the light, peaceful,, almost happy feeling. I have also felt that in others who passed who were very close to me. Somehow they let me know they were in a good place and years later I still feel their presence at times.

Yes I understand it and am familiar with it as well having had close brushes with death a few times.
We share similar experiences.

I still feel the presence of spiritual souls of those close to me. Somehow they let me know they are in a good place.

I can't imagine a book about the soul in a scientific way because science demands proof and there is none that I know of.

in addition to the repeated posts, I made an error in addressing MN. I keyed in MC but I meant MN. Sorry for the confusion.

Richard, if you can... please eliminate the first two posts on this page from me that are duplicates. Thanks

Physical reality is an illusion... the idea of dying is part of physical reality... therefore it's an illusion...

I do hope there's a soul. But it's more likely there isn't

Even the time I left my body and went through the walls of my house, I cannot be certain my mind made it up, or if it was remote viewing. It's not enough for me to lay back dying and think "I'm ok".

No one knows
Lots of people know because we have descriptions from people who have had near death experiences. We also have descriptions from people who can astral travel. Also psychics can see and talk to ghosts and shows the person is continuing without a psychical body.
