Erm..... The Solar Eclipse? Solar and Lunar Eclipses in one month?
#1
Dear Astrojewels,

I would like to know(that is if you don't mind), what is your interpretation of the Solar Eclipse and the fact that there was a Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse in the same month? Is there any significance to this..anything important in general?

Thanks!!!

Hi PP,

We talked about the lunar eclipse and the solar works as an opposite energy, and for this year we had a solar/lunar in March and now in September.  This is what those who live in the square would call a coincidence, but there is no such thing. Like I said the Virgo –Pisces opposites, so the energy that is held in that time will now fade. Libra balancing or confusing the energy of each individual of this time, it has been a difficult year and the question is – how has it created change to you and have you allowed all occurrences to be analyzed-broken down, and then come out of it with clarity and taken the next step up your life-stream ladder, because if you do not let go/accept the intention of each step, the more you rise, the more weight you carry and climbing stairs with a heavy load is hard.

Jan Spiller is an astrologer that works with solar/lunar eclipse; she has a book with another author about this system, sorry cant think of the title.

As of today Libra is influencing us and is the time to ‘reflect’ because the next sign is Scorpio, so if you do not work out now what the year has provided, Scorpio will take you to a emotional response and make it even harder for you to be thankful for your lessons, Scorpio does not influence gratitude. Each month is a cycle, and each season allows us to absorb universal energy. The universal cycle is constructed by change, we humans resist it, if you can come out of each cycle more evolved than before, you are universally developing your life-stream purpose.

The next solar/lunar double is March 2007, and it is a whole year until another, which is February 2008.

That is really interesting to know that we have had two lunar/solar eclipses in one month in the same year. So this phenomena is not a coincidence and can occur more than once in a year? I guess will look it up when I have the time. Thanks for letting me know what is the importance of this cycle as well in regards to letting go/analyzing and being grateful.

Thanks!!! I appreciate this! :o)

PP,

That is a word you should try to let go of – coincidence! It is hard to not use it in a general conversation but all things universally follow patterns, and that is why so many things seem to reflect each other. The eclipse in a scientific term is just shadowing, but this affect does produce energy which will create people to do things that are out of their normal characteristics, it is a fact that crime triples on a full moon. A friend of mine who has just had a very large awakening told me a phrase that really reflects this topic.

She said for such a long time that she has been a shadow to others, and through all her experiences she has developed a great sense of her own guidance because her inner voice kept advising and she did not listen but also needed the understanding. She said “if you do not know where your shadow is, how you may shine the light on it” she is going to rise in leaps and bounds, she has all her tools of life now, so she only needs to create her masterpiece. The best way to keep a record of all the cycles of planetary movement is with a good ephemeris; this is the bible to all astrologers.

Well, what a fun night it has been (in a good way).  The eclipse tonight was very visible from where I was.  Very cool.  I'm going to go see if any of my pictures came out.

We missed the excitement this time around silly, but I have seen a few now and just love the show, especially when the cycle reaches mid-point and the moon glows this weird red/orange color. Hope your photos turn out, you will have to share them with us.

Well, live and learn for me -- next time I will use a tripod (& not balance the camera on my car roof with people moving around inside, lol)  and read the instruction book that came with my camera.  I took 47 pictures and none came out really clear.

But what a neat night and view.  I loved what I saw. icon_cuinlove   I'm looking forward to the next event.

Searching for a lighter to light a pipe (not a crack pipe!, haha, just a regular pipe), rolling the window down and then up and then down, searching for my camera batteries, shifting around in the seats.  Once I found out that the shutter speed was going to be more than 2 seconds, any movement at all from the camera while the shutter was open, blurred what I was taking.  I tried to keep my hands still, as still as possible, but that didn't work, and then I got the idea to set the camera on the roof.   Here's one of the 47 that I took, in all it's blurry glory.
