Hereââ¬â¢s another mind pattern question. Lately Iââ¬â¢ve been seeing tons of young men styling their hair into a fauxhawk. What would be the mind pattern here? Would it be chaos?

Something to do with porcupines and or hedgehogs??;)
Perhaps antennae for incoming beamed programming? Fear maybe? I know the hair on the back of your neck stands on end when you hear a mountain lion scream. Everyone who has heard it has had this involuntary response. An attempt to make oneself appear bigger ?

As a slightly humorous adjunct to what you wrote, Silly, and I have not even looked at the picture yet but the person is saying:
I AM WIRED!!! icon_crazy

haha... yup Polly. He looks electrified.
Okay, I have one more interpretation: know the warrior helmets from the Trojans in Greece? Looks like they have a fuller brush on top of their heads. Well this guy, up there, is living a simultaneous life as a warrior sent in to rescue Helen of Troy. He has a hair crest in this life and in the one in Greece. ![]()

I'll tell you what that hairdo reminds me of (now that I have looked and see that it is what I imagined it would look like) -- it is similar to the rendition on a certain space weather website when earth's electromagnetic field is being hit by a solar wind stream. Hehe.
Also, I am reminded of the old cartoons which portrayed characters sticking their fingers or paws into an electrical outlet, or some other source of electricity, and their hair or fur would look like that. So, yeah, the "do" makes people look wired; as if they just received a huge shock. Actually, I think it looks sort of cute on that guy.

Sily, that helmet made me wonder if the mind pattern is warrior or something like that. The Mohawk Indians were warriors. Some say they were man eaters.
It seems like nowadays most young men have either the faux bedhead style or a fauxhawk. Then lots of them use tons of grease to make their hairstyle. It makes me wonder what all that grease is doing to their brain. It makes me what the heck is going on with young men nowadays. Is it all programming or something else? They say the under 30 crowd are the heaviest programmed. Judging their choices of styles makes me agree with that. icon_lol

I discovered why the fauxhawk is popular. Itââ¬â¢s all because of David Beckham. It seems that maybe guyââ¬â¢s are just copying their sports hero. But what is Davidââ¬â¢s mind pattern to start a whole new weird style? icon_lol
Fauxhawk From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Footballer David Beckham popularised the fauxhawk. The fauxhawk (or faux-hawk) hairstyle is an approximation of a mohawk, made without shaving or buzzing the hair on the sides of the head, allowing an imitation of the look of a true mohawk without having to commit to removing most of one's hair.[1] In many cases, the look can be temporarily set aside by simply combing or restyling the hair. The name is a portmanteau of faux (the French word for false) and mohawk. The fauxhawk was popularised by football (soccer) star David Beckham, [1] who styled himself after designer Hedi Slimane. The fauxhawk is typically worn with a small but noticeable spike in the middle, though usually considerably shorter than many traditional mohawks. Because a fauxhawk does not involve shaving the head, most, if not all, of the hair will be gelled upward. It should be noted, however, that the term has its roots in the mid-80's punk scene. It was a term of derision, aimed at "outsiders" of the underground who would not commit to the social stigma conveyed by a true mowhawk. For African American men, the fauxhawk is created by leaving the middle strip of hair longer than that of the traditional low Caesar cut. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fauxhawk

I was not sure about this if it was an actual pattern of thought or just a trend, but reading that article reminded me that the sex pistols had this type of hairstyle, and I know a few men that have their hair this way, they are confident, popular and trendy, and so far from a warrior mentality, I really donââ¬â¢t think it works the same way as the Mohawk, as the sides are shaved and this sends a totally different message. David Beckhamââ¬â¢s mind pattern, do we really want to venture there? But at least you guys in the US taught him how to speak without a squeakââ¬Â¦
