There is enormous amounts of toxic particulates blowing over North America every moment. There are maps I can post the links to if I can find them again. But for now, here's a link to a recent newscast in Philadelphia that discusses some of the effects:

Knmar there is no direct link to your youtube video instead it just points to http://www.youtube.com.
You should be able to insert the video with the embedded youtube player within your post by clicking on the "Insert a you tube video" tab instead of using a link.

I just came back with a better video link and I can't find anywhere to insert a youtube video. Help. In the meantime, does this link work?

Until I learn how to embed a video on this site, perhaps you can cut 'n paste the URL into your browser. Here's the newscast again:

Usually when you post there are options for posting a youtube video. If you look up you will see them in a dark blue background there are other options as well llike text styles, text alignment, superscript or subscript. Usually when you click the youtube symbol it opens up the link box to enter the youtube link click ok and it will place some flash code around the link. Before you post you can hit preview to see if it works. You can embed a flash object in your post. You can embed youtube player, Media player, Real time player and Quick time. At the upper right up these is the option for you to post a picture. [flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/uVFNFmKd2yU&feature=related&hl=en&fs=1[/flash] [flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/a9W97tqjjzg&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL&hl=en&fs=1[/flash] [flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/TgupMRj_4vk&hl=en&fs=1[/flash] The last youtube link was giving me bit of a problem due to I think the word embedded player so I had to search for a better link but it is the same video since in preview it was coming up as a white place holder where there should of been an embeded youtube player with the video preview image. You can do it don't give up just try experimenting using preview instead of the save post. I myself am a slow learner but I don't give up so easily regarding trying to understand problems of this type.

Hello Sovereign: Thank you so much for the tutorial. It looks imposing and challenging, but I will see if I can master it. First of all, I'm going to post a snippet from a very knowledgable poster on another website where there is much discussion about the Japanese disaster and its implications for those in North America.
"Chem, did you see the map? Send that to all the disbelievers in Canada. Canada and the Pacific NW are getting hit the hardest with fallout. In case someone does not believe you - this is not some kid playing with software dreaming up the animation. It came from NILU, the Norwegian atmospheric research center which tracks fallout, they also had the best data on Chernobyl and still track Chernobyl as it flares periodically (which it does such as with the Russian wildfires last year which churned up another round of Chernobyl radioactivity when the old contaminated forests caught on fire sne sent it flying again). NICU has the reputation of being the best tracker for fallout globally." http://transport.nilu.no/browser/fpv_fuk...;region=NH That post also says this, "Forget MSM - here is one of the better links to Fukushima news - all day long new articles." http://enenews.com/ |
