That's 7 letters; The reverse  = DRAHCIR

(So, Richard stands for the reverse of Draco ;))

R=9, I=9, C=3, H=8, A=1, R =9 , D =4  (3 x 9 !)

Numerical value: 9 + 9 + 3 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 4 = 43 = 7 (again) = violet = contra-Draco.
