AJ: The most common thing that is done is watching fireworks and having picnics. Although for me, it is just another day and a day that I have to calm down Anubis all the time. I haven't seen fireworks since my girls were little.

AJ it is celebrated very much like Australia Day is celebrated in Oz.  I just returned from picnicing and fireworks. It means what most birthdays mean ...renewal and regeneration .

DT...I have to stall the horses due to fireworks. Some of them don't mind but others are skittish .My dog tries to run after fireworks so I have to pen him up too .
