Help finding an old Western movie

Okay, this is for all you vintage people out there. I am desperately looking for the title of an old western I remember from when I was a kid. I think it may be from the late 50's or the early 60's.  It was about a group of men in California (I think it was during the gold rush days) who wanted wives so they got some kind of matchmaker who found women back east who wanted husbands. It was all about these women who had to take a wagon train all the way to California, basically on their own with only a few guys leading them. It was a really good movie but I can't for the life of me remember the title of it and I would really like to get it.

 I remember well the scene in which one of the women buried her child on the prairie and couldn't leave the grave .

I remember the scene where the two guys were looking for a grave of a certain person and when they finally found it and dug it up, they found booze. LOL
