Hyperspace Solutions To Fear
#1
The only thing I know of to combat fear is what Stewart mentions - Maroon is a bravery color. Someone must know something else on treating fear. Anyone?

Since we have nothing to fear but fear itself (excuse the obvious) - I guess removing the word/concept from one's vocabulary would be beneficial.

What is the basis of your fear?  Go to the root of it and then apply the appropriate colour that alleviates the specific causal factor.

'I know no fear' must be a positive affirmation...yes?

Well, it works for me.

I agree with xan-i. I also want to mention that in her description is truly the Oversoul fundamentals.

I highly recommend the book "Decoding Your Life" if you do not have a copy yet. It speaks of "sub-personalities" such as fear and courage. Janet's metaphysics background can teach us a great deal about Oversoul communication and self-realization.

Fear is a powerful force. I'm attempting to deeper understand it. It's interesting that fear will transmute into a trillion different issues, branching off repetitively until the issues are so indirectly related that it's exceedingly difficult tracing them back to fear

Hey Chromedangel,

Janet Swerdlow says in her book "In Search of Yourself", that Fear and courage are both sub-personalities that are strengthened by yellow energy.  Fear is a normal and natural part of the growth process.  Fear and courage balance each other as both have positive and negative qualities.  Other sub-personalities of fear are inflexibility, control and manipulation.

Janet offers a visualization to balance fear:

"As you move through Fear, send the excess yellow energy of Fear out through the top of your head to your Oversoul.  Ask your Oversoul to take all that you no longer need.  Ask Oversoul to strengthen courage so fear will be balanced.  Keep track of your progress."

It is a worthwhile book to read.  Janet has a way with explanations that I have found to be extremely comprehensible.

I often study my anger, pain and guilt..even ego..

I don't realize sometimes the sadness and everything else relates to fear needing to be explored...

Control and manipulation can be relative

Control; the beneficial side as in controlling fear, and/or your life. So I assume she meant self-destructive control issues

Manipulation might be theorized as a super-personality of control [creating mind-control]

The point Janet is making is that all sub-personalities, i.e. inflexibility, control, manipulation have BOTH positive and negative expressions.

For example, if you are inflexible in a particular circumstance, it may be absolutely correct for you to be so.  Say someone is encouraging you to ingest something you do not care to have in your system.  Of course you will be inflexible!  But rightly so.

However if inflexibility is the automatic reaction for an individual and the knee jerk response to everything,  then some balancing would be indicated.

Janet is a lovely person.  I had a consultation with her a few years ago and I felt completely safe in her presence.  She has a very calming and gentle energy.
