Has anyone here seen the film Inception? There's quite a buzz on Swerdlow's Q&A about it but I haven't yet seen anyone here mention it (unless I missed it). I saw it a few days ago & thought it was brilliant as a film. But it was also quite thought-provoking knowing that similar kinds of technology exist in real life. Made me wonder how much of it was based on truth...

I began watching it, but just couldn't get into it. Will have to try again when the DVD comes out.

Just saw "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" on TV. Will have to write in detail about that. Every standard CIA Mk Ultra type Op of the 1960s explained, including profiling a candidate based on him being a surviving Twin.

Hmm that review's pretty much spot-on I'd say, overall. As pure entertainment it's an awesome film but it's the questions it raises when you know it's based on fact - including the question of how much fact it's based on.
