Logical Fallacies and the Alex Collier debate (or KBA for that matter)
#11
What a classic. Spoken like a true disciple.

Quote:And contrary to your assumption, I have not made Alex my 'new guru'. I've long since come off that 'trip'. Ultimately, we have to become our own guru, learn to completely trust ourselves in what we feel to be real and genuine. And Alex does emphasise that. 'to truly believe in ourselves, to remind us what we are capable of but too often get stuck in our own dogmas and become our own worst enemy in the process.

Sifter, stay out my hair, please?

You'd have to ask GWSOL this question, not me. He was the one that kept fobbing me as to 'AC being my new guru'...

Quote:I think we all pretty much know that AC talks some good talk but like you said, you don't have to be a contactee or to have come across AC to arrive at those sentiments of responsibility here and NOW on this earth plane and the hard work it takes to examine ones' self. etc etc
Well, going by GWSOL's comments re Alex, I would desist. GWSOL keeps insisting that AC is a fraud, a BS artist, a 'good' actor' and full of bull. Just pointing out the obvious.

And, what are you my mother? I wasn't talking to you. GWSOL is perfectly capable of speaking for himself.

Now, if you excuse me, I'll go and comb my hair.;)

Yeah right there side by side, with no regard or respect to the cause or the surrounding, but continue to mimic you and intimidate you because of its own immaturity and for its' miserable personal entertainment , quite annoying indeed.

One day the guard will grab it by the neck and will throw it into the dung pit and it will cry and say this life sucks for me.

Interesting video.

It's like how to deal with a boring wasp (reminds me to another wasp, it could sting again ! :D)  BBzzzBBBzzzzzzz, .... and then SMASH !!

BTW: I gave this topicstart of GWSOL 5 stars.

these 10 points are terrific examples.

Wouldn't you just loooove that, GWSOL... So you can put me in a corner...just so you can prove that 'you are "right"'. Right?

You're easy to read, GWSOL. You're the kind of individual who'd rather have a finger cut off than admit that he's wrong. As a fixed sign (Aquarius is a fixed air sign), you rigidly and stubbornly hold on to what you 'think' is "your" truth. Unless you'd become an abductee yourself you probably wouldn't change your mind anyway. And even, then you'd probably still refuse to accept that it might've happened to you - that's how scary that prospect seems to be to you.

What's that's saying: "I'd rather be right than happy!" Your ego has you by the ninnies all right.

It's that kind of dogmatic attitude that ends up breaking our necks... the unwillingness to admit that yes, we may have made errors in judgement.

You're hardwired into 'staying put'. I have, by contrast, conceded to AC's predictions leaving more than enough to answer for - so, if you're intent to make me look as a 'gullible, guru follower of AC', be my guest. It's water off my back.

I really couldn't care less if that's what makes you happy.

And, I repeat, you have as yet to admit that your real intention with this stupid analogy here was to put Alex and Stewart into the same corner.

The fact that AC speaks about spiritual principles does not discount the other rubbish he speaks including those predictions and his "messages from Andromeda" which is what captured everyone's attention in the first place.

It's as if we "mere" humans are incapable of arriving to and embodying the attributes without them pounding it into our heads.

You've as much as admitted his predictions are crap. And I can take your word for it that you've grown up since the Swerdlow days and have no gurus, good for you! Welcome to the club. So explain why your growth still includes bullying. Do you EVER park what you write and come back later to find it might work better for you to erase things like "get out my hair". You are still a very angry person.

I don't think anyone has said that AC is on the same level as Swerdlow.

God, you a-r-e slow...

First, nobody was ringing your doorbell to chuck in your confused and nebulous comments.

Second, when you took issue with my exchange I had with GWSOL (and no I told already I wasn't talking to you!), and told me that I'm *rude, and me telling you where you can stick that why are you then surprised I am 'an angry person'?

You don't get it do you? You were asking for this. And yes, you had it coming.

I didn't ask you for your advice or opinion nor do I care whether you think I am 'still an angry' woman. Maybe you should stay out of discussion you've no business in.

Do you understand? Ok, I want to make sure you really get it: "Mind your own business."

And then don't get iffy and pissed if somebody tells ya something you may not like to hear. So I repeat: Stay out of my hair. Capice?

Quote:I don't think anyone has said that AC is on the same level as Swerdlow.
Well, just because you haven't caught onto what this is about, doesn't mean nobody else has.

I repeat (!), my gut tells me that this whole post was meant to discredit AC and put him on par with Stewart. Why else all the talk about 'gurus', and being 'gullible' and 'BS artist' and blah, blah.... to infinity. I mean really... Jeez.

Make of it what you will but I'm seriously not interested in your input any longer. I don't need your trying to 'rein me in' efforts just to then end up being surprised I am not "grateful" and 'appreciative' of your ham-stringed efforts to get me to behave more to your liking?!? If you haven't caught on by now that your 'input' style with me is backfiring, then it's a bit of a lost cause trying to keep explaining something you obviously do not want to see or just are too plain daft to get your head 'round it.

So, just to make sure you understand: You are not my mother!

And stay out of my hair.

Thank you.

Your gut is wrong. Just as Alex Collier is wrong with his predictions.

You seem to care an awful lot! Otherwise you would not write all these insane posts.
