Check your 2007 calendars under the months of May, June and July.  The next blue moon is on its way after skipping this last year.  It will be the second full moon of the month, and depending on your timezone, it could land in either of these three months.  My timezone says it will land on May 31st, but some people (I believe in Europe) will have it June 30th. 

Edit: Remember, you can figure out if it's a blue moon by seeing how many full moons are in the single month.  There is usually one, but every now and again there are two.  That second one is the blue moon.

Excuse me if I sound ignorant, but what's the significance of an extra full moon? Also, what does this mean in terms of astrology?

The blue moon is often associated with mystical happenings and the occult.

I've never been too keen on astrology, but from what I know, it's not much different than a full moon due to our limited calandar.

In 2007, the months that have the double full moon are 30th June and 31st December (which is a lunar eclipse) and these dates are for all time zones.

 In astrological terms the blue moon is when your personal moon sign is in position twice in the month, and depending on your sign, provides an amplified energy to your own internal power, which can be used in various ways but mostly for techniques of self-empowerment. The moon is associated with day-to-day moods, so many utilize the blue moon for overcoming issues that have created deep wounds in the mind-pattern.
