Is Michael Jackson Really Dead?

Published by s hayes on June 26, 2009

Recent appearances of Michael Jackson have prompted rumours by many fans that Michael Jackson has employed a “look-alike” body double to carry the burden of the up-coming world tour.

The shock news that pop legend Michael Jackson has suffered a fatal cardiac arrest at the age of 50 has sent his fans reeling.  The big question is, was it really Michael Jackson who died?

Many who watched the press announcement for the up-coming world tour were convinced that it was not the real Jacko…….but a body double that faced the eager press.

Many devoted fans watching world tour announcement and other recent appearances commented that his hands, face, stature and general demeanour and mannerisms were unfamiliar (beyond any consequences of physical surgery), leading to rumours of a body double.

For a 50 year old man who has been rumoured to have suffered from Skin Cancer, Skin Disease, a debilitating Spider Bite, requirement for a lung transplant, addiction to Vicodin, nervous exhaustion, cosmetic surgery complications, to name a few,  the prospect of a strenuous world tour would be a virtual impossibility.

Music journalists reported on sky news on the night of the announcement of his death that Michael Jackson was only contracted to perform for a few minutes on stage for each of the tour dates, suggesting that a well trained “look-alike” may stand in, secretly, for the bulk of the performances.

If there are one /numerous Michael Jackson “stand-ins”, are we really sure that the real Michael Jackson has died?…Only his very close friends / family would be able to answer this and if Michael Jackson were alive but wanted to escape the relentless press / legal harassment, it would be an ideal way to “retire” with the support of those close and trusted to him…..(who could blame him!) we may never know!

He will be sadly missed for his undeniable, unique, absolute shining talent which has entertained and will continue to entertain many generations of music and dance lovers.

Here’s wishing that he has now found peace.

I must disagree.  Michael Jackson donated more money than anyone else in the world including Oprah Winfrey.  He did not do it in the public eye so most people do not know that.  Second, the young boy came out and admitted that he lied about Michael and that his father was an addict who made him lie for the money. Yes Michael was a very strange man but he was also a better man than most know about him because of his strangeness.

Michael Jackson had gone very far off the deep end. To quote a hungover Martin Sheen in the movie Apocolypse Now: "Yes, sir. Quite obviously insane."

Approximately 300,000 people worldwide die each day. Each of them as valuable as Michael. I don't laugh or take pleasure at his death. But the international fawning over him is a sickening thing.

Jackson had talent and was one of the most materially blessed people ever. But what did he do with it? Drugs, cosmetic operations, and just plain weirdness.

His demons just destroyed him. And he was terrified of growing old--he called himself Peter Pan. Spending money and being with his children seemed to be the only things he enjoyed. But then the spending had to stop and the humiliation from being broke just compounded everything.

Hmm..It is reported that MJ was friends with Uri Geller. I find that very interesting.

William Wrote:From all the changes MJ went thru. How would we really know if that was really him that died?> Some say that it was his double. Who knows?

There may be some credence to that. Watch his last interview in London. He sounds more masculine. His mannerisms are different too.

That, I can agree with.  I just see no reason for him to be villafied.  Especially since never looked for any attention for anything but his music.  While the villans usually are the biggest philanthropist, they also seek publicity for it.  Even if it is under the guise of being "ananomous".  He and Janet just don't seem like the Jay Z's and Beyonce's.

hey guys, I just stopped by wondering what you all thought of MJ's death occurring in the same week as Farrah Fawcetts and Ed McMahons--everything occurring in threes. I am impressed by the long article that HCF News posted in regards to MJ regarding himself as better off dead a week prior to his death. that might help me to understand it more--there was a lot of censorship obviously..a lotof control in what was being said, not said..by the media in regards to MJ,etc. some people find it a huge distraction though to what is going on in iraq.
peace & love. hope all is well.
