That's a bunch of crap from Rinpoche.Kundalini is not reserved for someone who lives a yogic life and who is dedicated to it.I had full blown activation of Kundalini when I was 17-18 and I did not live the life of a Yogi.

I ended up being a super thin person with too much energy.I didn't have 1 activation,I had activations for approx.18 months.everything I would think of,would happen.Astral fights, out of body experiences.I could read minds. It would flip people out.By reading people's energies,I could read their mind.If I wanted to scare them,I would energetically get close to them and then move forward and backward. It scared the hell out of people, because they felt it yet, they would see me sitting and just looking at them.I had psychic abilities I wasn't aware of previously.

Moon Child, the activation in you was a natural process ?

I mean, you didn't do anything artificially to stimulate the kundalini activation ?

No,I didn't do anything to activate it,although Stew claims that the Illum did.

Do you possess all these abilities still?

How old are you?

I believe I go through kundalini activations of some sort every now and then and its been going on for the past few years since reiki 1 initiation(I place emphasis on that because its been a life changing experience for me..the first one in my life)...the activations are not full blown..I get more energetically sensitive to things as well as others...I feel high energy...and its like I feel the need to adjust to every level I reach...and sometimes I just want to keep going higher and higher but I know that I probably am not able to handle a full one in a short period of time..so it takes years for me and I am okay with that. I try to focus more on the journey and how much control I give up to Oversoul and God. One needs to be responsible with their energies, thoughts and feelings..we could really harm others if we're not balanced and internally stable.

I would label the time period from late spring 2005 up til the present as another dramatic life changing phase for me...on all levels.

I also would say be careful..because one needs to adjust to the changes they go through and if you can't handle all of that...then it can be unhealthy and self destructive.

Firehead, some yogis have devoted their entire lives to achieving Kundalini. What makes you think it is easily achievable if there is even a remote possibility?

There's another reason why you shouldn't persue a Kundalini activation. I can imagine what PP was saying that how once Kundalini is activated you need to put it under control. A lamp can't take in too much wattage or it will blow. There are electricity and synapses in our bodies - what happens when there's an oversurge in the case of the powerful Kundalini awakening? Seizure and unimaginable damages are the risks.

Maybe there is something else that I'm missing here. When I wanted to achieve Kundalini, it was mostly on a par with feelings of escaping reality and self-denial...

Instead of focusing on Kundalini, focus on something that is more tangible so your anger and frustration with reality is used for more productive means. There are many self-help / enrichment books out there that are authentic. I can show you a book or two that teaches body language. There are also books on human sexual mating since you were obsessed about it at one point. Whatever gives you a feeling of enlightenment or vantage point is more productive than trying to achieve the unthinkinable.

If you resent learning about Kundalini or mind-pattern analysis, then go exploring other metaphysics / spiritual books. I had found that it's possible to read materials by only one or two authors and other authors who have completely different views. It is normal. Study up specifically on reality manifestation. You can settle on mind-pattern analysis, but that doesn't mean you can't study how the mind attracts circumstances and apply these ideas even if that possibly means cheating life lessons. It's not like it's a sin and you'll burn in hell, that you would have to shun it. When you can make up your entire life, nothing else really matters because you will always be happy and better.
