New Moon
#1
Is there anything strange connected with the new moon rather than full? It just felt like a really odd night last night. The street felt so quiet - you'd just get bursts of idiots driving around fast in their noisy cars. Oddly though, one car noisily went past the house and I got that high pitch tone in my ear (until I blocked and released it).

The clincher though was my young son who burst into the bedroom at 3am, he was shaking - and wanted to sleep in the same bed as me. In the morning I asked him what had scared him. He said 'I heard a voice that was not mine....maybe they were invisible' With further questioning I found out the voice was a little bit angry and male. I checked that his bedroom window was closed.

This has often happened to me in the last couple of years where I'd hear something like a voice and wake up with the voice ringing in my ears. I usually take it as a sign to check the house out.

Any clues?

Askilla,

The new moon is like the ‘change of guard’ it is the complete opposite energy to the full moon, and is always in the same sign as the sun, so the new moon was in Aries! It is a double boost astrologically, yet physically invisible, because you can not see it…and why it is often called the ‘dark moon’.

All religions, belief systems and even philosophies have moon cycles included, and the new moon belongs to the east, as the Chinese New Year is decided on this phase.

You should take note of these voices and see if they do occur around this cycle and then it will be much easier to work out the message or purpose of it.

My son thought the voice was stern at him because he didn't eat enough dinner as he also felt hungry lol.. I put some protective quartz crystals in his room and let him have a torch under his pillow last night and he was fine.

New moon would have been early this morning I realised after looking at the different sites - which probably ties in with this strange dream I had about a huge glass skyscraper built under the ocean (inside I felt seasick as I could still feel the movement of the waves even though the building was sturdy - so vivid).

All I gathered from my own research was that the new moon was used to do cleansing magic - discarding old fears and energies and bringing in the new.

Funny that you had a dream about being by or under the ocean, Askilla. I also had a dream yesterday where I was being taken to a 'new' apartment that was right on a wharf by the ocean. I even remember seeing octopuses hanging around, and the smell...whew. Needless to say, my 'apartment' was not very nice and it was practically under water.

This dream was odd. I'd seen the top of the building just below the surface of the ocean and wondered what it would be like. Then I was suddenly in it, I knew it was new.. basically only its owner was in there with me- think he was male and it felt like he was tolerating my visit. There was no lighting, so it was dimly lit by the surrounding ocean - I remember no fish and the place was just stark. I didnt feel the motion of the ocean at first, only when my mind comprehended that this building was submerged..then I felt it and started experiencing nausea.

You know I don't think I've ever experienced smell in my dreams. Is that common?

I can't answer that, Askilla. Nothing in my dreams seem common, but I do seem to have very tactile. What I mean (in case that is not the right word for it), is that I seem to smell, feel, and hear things in my dreams a lot.
