New York Ripe For Disaster
#11
PP, if it makes you feel any better, I'll be worrying along with you since I will be in NJ from the middle of July to the beginning of August. Although I'm a little bit more lucky. None of my girls live close to the shore. :big grin:  But...then again...my train does go through a lot of those areas...:paranoid:

Yeah I remember one of your daughters lives in NJ---hey if I move to NJ maybe we can all be connected!*dreams* *idealist* Hopefully your daughters live towards the central part of NJ and on elevated land.....we can pm each other about this!

Do you have to take the PATH train(oh wait...thats to NY from NJ..) or NJ Transit or Amtrak(too expensive).

*shrugs*

Erase thought intentions of creating the thought experience of you being on a train during a hurricane!!!

I will pray......

I take Amtrak and they go all crazy routes.  On the way there I go straight through from Chicago to Philly via PA, but on the way home I have to go from Philly to Washington D.C. to Chicago. But hopefully I won't get close enough to the shore.

My number 2 daughter is going to FL to visit some friends and she comes back on June 1 - the first day of hurricane season. :unibrow: But she is one of those that bucks anything anyone says. I told her that CA was going to have a major earthquake, and she said that if she could afford it, she would move there just to prove me wrong. Rolleyes

hrmm reverse psychology then? You should tell her erm its not gonna happen in CA now but erm in Michigan...so that way she can come to Michigan and be near you guys. :o) *Shrugs*

:o)

yeah I remember what was said about Florida. Sigh...it sucks that such a place will go down in hurricanes or at least sink...:o/ hey but the evil thing about it is its amusement parks such as disneyworld...

ahh whatevers!!

i thought there was a railroad route that goes up to Michigan from the NJ/NY area?

wait so you take the Amtrak while you're in the NJ area..just to commute in NJ? or you do the other routes? *shrugs* maybe i shouldn't ask here in public.

maybe we should invest in kayaks and paddles and swim gear--snorkles and scuba gear..stuff to protect me from sharp objects when i swim. i'll plan laundry day on the day that the hurricane/tsunami hits...you know..churn all the stuff in the water while i sit on my roof!!

peace

Hey Richard,

What I did see this week is that Allstate pulled out of Florida, Louisana, the eastern seaboard, NY, the New Madrid fault, Illinois, Ohio, California, Oregon and Washington. After the hurricanes in 2004 and 2005 they quit writing flood insurance for homes, now it is NO home owners insurance anywhere near the coasts nor middle.

No need to worry about where we are. (Been there done that.) I was in living and working in Manhattan on 9/11 and lost my job. Moved to where my youngest daughter is in Punta Gorda, Florida in 2002 and hurricane Charley took the roof off my house with me in it and made our 2 towns look like war zones with 165 mph winds and 38 tornados on Friday the 13th of Aug 2004 with no warning! Weather service had no clue as that was the 1st scalar magnetic controlled storm. NO controlled ELF ritual with the Illumaniti there! I am still renting a room and lost everything except the important thing. . .  my life! Since none of my efforts to have enough capital to move to SC in the mountains, (was my intention worked,) I have let go of most of the 'fear'. Working with Godmind/Oversoul and hyperspace techniques has brought some positive results. Where I am now, is that I will survive and surpass whatever comes to me. Stewart has been telling me since last Aug to get out of here! I believe him! I am on the Gulf side on the bottom third of Florida.

Finances seems to be the obstacle and I am letting my Oversoul know that I would like to remain here on earth for quite awhile longer. Hurricane season starts again here next week. With all of the earth changes happening induced or otherwise, a lot of us will have to make do with what we have. Worrying or being in a fear space will definately not change things. :boohoo: Excuse me for playing my violin. . .  LOL  Linda :slywink:

Linda, I wish I could say, hey! move in with me but lol I don't own the home I'm living in. also if this hurricane hits the eastern seaboard worse than Hurricane Katrina did to Louisiana, I don't even know if I'll have a home to house myself and others in!!

I want to pray for you and others living on the East Coast..and also do the protection technique that Stewart suggested we all do on LA or any other places for protection...

even though i may not always be able to do my prayers...my thoughts and heart go out to other people...

I'm glad you survived the other disasters...I was also in NY when 9/11 occurred....except of course not on Manhattan island....you should tell Oversoul that you no longer wish to experience natural disasters and that you wish to experience something else..

for all i know you're the expert in surviving hurricane disasters!!

Linda, I heard about Allstate and other insurance companies pulling out of hurricane and flood areas. Things don’t sound good for this year. It sounds like 2006 might be recorded as having the most major disasters.

PP, We’ll have to place violet hands over NY and other states when the hurricanes start. :)

Hey Lightworker,

My best friends are Charley survivors.  They agreed that it was a manufactured event that went from a Cat2 to Cat5 in less than 15 minutes.  They survived with their baby by taking refuge in a closet, praying and sheer luck.  I am very glad you made it through ok, you are a surpassor for sure! :)

We have all recently relocated to the NC/SC border area just south of Charlotte.  Right now the area is expanding, but rents are pretty cheap and insurance is still available.  It is a good place to be for us and I would like to recommend it to those who might be looking to move.

BTW, Charlotte is known as a big banking town and is culturally diverse with many theatres, galleries and gardens.  It is not just the birthplace of NASCAR; not that there is anything wrong with that!!!.....:big grin:
