Quote:I know a lot of people that go out of their way to be nice, and they always seem to be treated harshly, it can be sad. I believe they just try to hard, and it is like a constant reminder not to do it!
I've suffered from this all my life Karen... and often do even now.  What you say is true.  I feel that for some unfathomable reason people insist on associating kindness with weakness.  They feel that kindness is a form of weakness.

Sad to say that I haven't enjoyed endlessly havig to snap them back into place, as I don't like crap like that.  Why have war when you can have peace, is what I figure.  But if it means being walked all over, then I see no other choice if one can't walk away.  Do you?  Other than not treating people kindly to begin with.

Nature made a monumental mistake when she made stupidity painless; stupidity and evil in fact.  Image how great the world would be if stupidity was extruciatingly painful and exponential in its effect with regards to the level of stupidity a person of supposed soud mind makes?

If only....

Hi Andrew X,

I am sorry but I do agree that kindness can actually be a weakness, depending on the situation. Many people allow themselves to become trapped into the manipulation of another, it takes an entire life time to understand emotions, but not so long to understand the energy that structures the emotion.

Kindness itself is not a weakness, but being kind to the ‘unkind’ is a weakness, it is a cycle of continually being hurt, and the reflection is that you knew from the start, yet your own guidance was ignored, you knew better, and some people beat themselves up because they seen it, but totally ignored it!

I am sure if you trust your inner guidance, you will have less ‘evil’ to deal with, and your kind heart will be appreciated by those who deserve your giving nature.

That is very funny about stupidity; I could name a few to begin a list…
