Photos Of A Traffic Jam Stuck In The Woods For 70 Years
#1
Around the town of Chatillon, Belgium, the end of World War II left a few creepy hallmarks of the armistice in the form of long lines of cars left abandoned by the hundreds in the woods. While one theory goes that the cars belonged to Americans who left them in a hurry on their way off the continent, Bored Panda points out that no one really knows for sure. While there were initially four giant pileups with over 500 cars, only one remains rotting in the woods, a monument to the inexorable creep of entropy.

That's pretty spooky. I'm surprised no one knows the real reason for it. Seems like the people who left their cars there would explain what happened. It makes me wonder if the people disappeared and that's why know one knows the truth.

Some cars seem to be much younger than 70 years old, like American cars from the 50s and 60s. The blue car is from the 70s and maybe of  French fabrication.

I also recognize some cars are German, old ones and newer ones like a Volkswagen.

Hey, their cover story doesn't hold water does it. Some of these cars ARE newer like Octahedron said.

When DID this occur and why would they need to lie about it? Could it be that THAT'S all they know how to do? Gosh!

I'm surprised no one got the cars out of there when they were new. There was lot of money sitting out there.

The news story below says that the locals say that "the Chatillon Car Graveyard is nothing more than a scrapyard. At some point, they say, there were four such cemeteries around the village with up to 500 dead vehicles". However I think it's strange to have a scrapyard in the woods. How are people supposed to go out there and buy parts? You'll never see anything like that in America. American scrapyards are located in places where people can drive there and buy parts and they have scrapping machines to crush the cars after all the good parts have been taken off.

Yeah...blame the USA! LOL! Because, you know...EVERY American private had a personal car during the war. That's all they did was drive around in civilian cars...looking for Nazis!

Not to mention that NONE of those cars were from WWII"!   (snickers.....)

(You know, the rest of the world Loooooves to blame the USA basically for all the sh*t that happens around the world. A few machiavellian  Illuminati (given marching orders by the draco) located mostly in (((Europe))) have been pulling the "world military muscle" residing in USA USING our poorest citizens as cannon fodder while Canada and the Western European world gets to use their funds to enhance their citizens lives - give them vacations. Sh*t the f up snotty Europeans, keep eating up your "superior, egotistical, programming" shows your ignorance.

More than 60% of Americans live in poverty so
USED is our beleagured populace to power the despicable war machine.

It's also sad the level of mind control, fluoridated water, sh*t food, etc. aggressed upon US citizens. "We're more to be pitied than censored."
