Readings
#1
I am currently offering to give free readings to members.  I work with both Tarrot and Runes.

The Tarrot deck I usually use is the Hanson-Roberts Deck, but also have the Morgan-Greer, 1JJ Swiss, and Cachet decks as well.  I use the Celtic Cross Spread in all readings.

My runes are engraved out of amethist stones and I usually use the five rune spread.  For a simplified version I can do the three rune spread, and for an extensive version I can do the Runic Cross spread (six rune spread).  I also can do the Three Lifetimes Spread which focuses on your closest past life, your current life, and your closest future life.

I do not pretend to predict the future, as with all forms of divination, everything presented in a reading is insight into situations, the self and possibilities if things remain the way they are going.  With every decision we make, the future changes and therfore cannot be pinned down through any form of divination.  Please understand this before requesting a reading.

If you would like a reading either respond to this message or pm me.  Either way, I will send your reading through pm.  If you want to show it publically, you can copy and post it here as well.  I also have msn and yahoo if it is more convenient (please tell me first).

When contacting me, the only personal information I need is your name (first name or commonly used nickname is enough) and birthdate.  I would also appreciate it if you told me if this reading was for a situation or for oneself.  Other than that, please tell me what kind of reading you want (runes or tarrot) and how you want it done (type of cards, runic spread, etc...).

I hope to hear from you,

Desertbird

Also, you do not have to tell me anything about the situation unless you absolutely feel that you need to.  Just knowing that it is a situation is enough.

That’s nice of you to offer to do readings for members. I’ll take you up on your offer and get a reading. Runes engraved out of amethyst stones sounds interesting. Where did you get those at?

The amethist runes were a gift from my aunt who used them during her spiritual development.  I do not know if you can get ones like them commercially.  A good place to look would be a store that specializes in the Occult.

I just sent out your reading, so check your mail when you get the chance.

I got your reading and thought it was very good. You have a good talent for doing readings. I took a look on the net and found a few places that do sell amethyst runes. They look nice and I think I may have to get a set. icon_smile

Those are the exact runes only mine are a little older to the point where the gold color has faded slightly.  I'll put a picture of them up later today after I get back from my histology class.

Shouldn't Tarot Card readings be done in person with a client for better accuracy and thoroughness? Many Tarot Card readers will do them only that way. Otherwise the readings might be superficial.

Yes, there is a stronger connection when it is person to person, but if it is at a distance you cannot look at it that way.  A distance reading is more along the lines of me learning about you rather than me presenting to you.  It's hard to explain, but the lack of personal contact can be compensated through a different mindset and having an overall different approach to the question/situation.

I would think that it would be like a psychic reading and distance wouldn’t matter. You can tune into a persons frequency no matter where there are.
