Ready to move to Australia....

Oh yeah...I wanted to add...AJ, in one of the posts you mentioned about the sky being a different color. I never responded to it because I haven't been able to see the sky to tell what color it is!

DT, Where do you blow snow from? The driveway?

You can't see the sky due to the snow?

I used to love the snow when we got a fair amount. I would go sledding with the kids and build snow sculptures.

DT, Should we send help?;)

Yes, MN. Rick blows the snow from the sidewalks and the driveway (which is a huge semi-circle). He also has to go around the back yard and make paths for Anubis because the snow is now over his head. Poor baby walks the paths and stops because he gets scared. He must feel like he is in a snow maze all isolated.

No, because of the snow and clouds, you can not see any of the sky - at all. Just grey and white. It is like we are under a dome.

I'm ready to move too. All this snow is really burning me out. I read this year we are going to have lots of snow and it will be very cold. They say it will be like the winters in the 70s. I remember the winters in the 70s and that's when Michigan would get tons of snow. I am so looking forward to spring. :)

Seriously you do not have to move as far as Australia, there must be plenty of places in the US that offer a mild winter? Even though our winters can not be compared, I do understand because I have a lot of trouble getting through winter here, they are just too long. Is there anything you like about the winter?

What I like about winter is that it calls for people to slow down somewhat. Not that they always do and some just aren't comfortable  doing so.  Winter is a  good time for going within.

Will people ever learn you need to slow down on snowy, icy roads?

That is very true MN, just like nature provides a hibernation cycle, I think that humans do need to do that too! I actually do like the onset of winter as I love the fire and I love cooking winter foods, there is just something so rewarding about it, but it is the lengthy time that I just find hard to cope.

People can not slow down, it is part of our modern world to go faster and faster no matter the dangers…

Well what can i say about a 40C Christmas.... its not much fun, since the pools are closed, unless of course you have your own.

Living downunder is quite...awesome to say the least, but I agree with AJ, there are possibly other places in the US that provide some intermediate relief of weather.....

You could always become a PT...permanent Traveler

I would love to become a "PT," unfortunately, that would take lots of "monE" which could be a bit hard to come by.
