We live in complete opposites at the moment DT, starting yesterday, we will have 4 days of 43 degrees (109 F) so the sky is blue and cloudless, but I am pretty sure you would not want to be here right now!

 AJ, How prevalent is the use of air conditioners in Australia? Do the stores use them ?

Richard blew some of that snow down here :D.We are getting @ 7'' which is a fair amount for us.
 I've been sick for a few days or I'd be out sledding.

The air conditioning is good wherever you go, shopping centers etc, this weather mostly affects older people, many of them don’t have any cooling because it can be expensive with the electricity.

It is snowing everywhere, it is amazing, and to me it is reflecting 2009, like a blanket.

Sorry to hear about you being sick, MN. I am also fighting off something...scratchy, sore throat...but I am drinking lots of "cold tea" and hopefully that will keep it at bay. Sorry also for the snow, but hey...we can't hold it all in here. It has to go somewhere. LOL I swear that we are living "The Day After Tomorrow" right here, right now.

AJ, right at this moment, I think I could take a day or two of your weather. It is VERY depressing looking a grey all the time.

Thanks DT. Take care of yourself. This is day # 4 for me .I don't have the upper respiratory . I've been calling Ralph alot . The cold air actually feels good  but I'm too weak to be out in it for long. I'll be better soon.

The horses, my dog and grandson are loving the snow.
