DT, how different is this to your ‘normal’ winter? Do you usually have sunny days through winter?

Oh yes, AJ..we have beautiful sunny (though cold), blue days which I always love. I love walking in the cold, crisp air when the sun is shining and the sky is blue. It is just so depressing this winter. All I see is grey, grey, grey....I need SUN! I need BLUE SKIES!!!

DT, we had a very grey winter last year, I loved getting that extra rain, but the grey skies are/were depressing and it takes a lot of effort to not let it get you down, so I do sympathize with you, I believed it was totally manipulated to create the down feelings, and it also helps with the spread of the swine flu!

Maybe Uruguay, Paraguay or Argentine are an option? That's not so far as Australia.

Don't know if I want to move to South America...

Hi, MN...how are you feeling today?

I'm a little better DT.Thanks for asking. Complete rest is the key.

Speaking of South America...I have a relative who lives in Brazil. She was home for the holidays and was telling me how difficult is for her to adjust there .It's very hierarchical there. The demarcation is very evident and strong. They've been there now for about 3 years.Because of her position she is considered " the elite". This is uncomfortable for her .

In listening to her story I gained an understanding of what David Goldman, the man who tried for 5 years to get his son back from Brazil, was up against and why.
