Putting it mildly, the reports about the oil gusher and the chemical used as dispersant is not GOOD.

No one has claimed the oil leak is anything but horrific.

Even the mainstream news reported on the toxicity of the  dispersant agents being used. No media blackout there.

That may the reason for the presence of national guards; to prevent people from seeing the effects of the toxic waste

I lived 4 years in the Gulf of Mexico . Believe me, with what has happened and the impact it has had and  will continue to have on peoples lives and livelihoods in the region the, National Guard has good reason to be armed.

No UN vehicles . No mass civilian arrests.

EPA's air monitoring conducted through June 9, 2010, has found that air quality levels for ozone and particulates are normal on the Gulf coastline for this time of year.

EPA has observed odor-causing pollutants associated with petroleum products along the coastline at low levels. Some of these chemicals may cause short-lived effects like headache, eye, nose and throat irritation, or nausea. People may be able to smell some of these chemicals at levels well below those that would cause short-term health problems.

On Friday, elements of the Georgia National Guard and Georgia State Guard, specifically Military Police, Light Infantry, and 1 of the (I’m told) 3 HAZMAT (NBC) units were issued 48 hour notice, and are expected to recieve Warning Orders. These units are to assist in possible evac of the Gulf coast area, specifically the west coast of Florida, the Louisiana coast, or Alabama. The source went into no further specifics other than that another NBC unit was placed on standby to assist if needed. The actual order to deploy has not yet been given, but this is SOP for Guard units to prepare for rapid deployment.

Repeat: an order to evac is being considered, but has NOT been given as of yet. Please remain calm. ”

 The original author is actually speculates  it is more about  an international war than the oil atrocity.

For now, keep this on top of the radar. This is a covert operation that needs some fresh air so to speak. we'll see how the situation develops.

If you ask me, there is no one solution that fits everyones bill, but you could take baby steps to put you on a better position.
Anyone in the coast could get the doctor to certify them allergic to vaccines in anticipation of mass vaccinations.

I suggest you spend more time bringing ideas to the table and don't get all caught up in the power trip.
