but i would love to here what everyone (or anyone) has experienced when it comes to UFO's, or "aliens"
I myself have never encountered a sighting, but i do believe there is something else out there. whether "they" have been to our planet or not, i find it very hard to believe we are alone.

Ive seen a few. And yes, good saying fungus, all you have to do is go outside at night a few times a week and you will see stuff. Last year or so I saw the freekiest UFO because it was so close but the weirdest thing was how quiet it was. That was shocking somehow! I had a witness with me at the time so we both saw it... They are believers but still question if they really saw what they really saw... hehehe... really! :shock:

I've seen what I think were two aliens in my lifetime. I may have seen more, but maybe they were disguised or just looked like regular people.
1. In Stewart's book BBTB, he shows a picture of an alien called "bear" I believe. I had one of the same looking bear-type aliens peer into my bedroom window when I was very young. That's it, just peered in and was gone.
2. When I was in my 20's I had some sort of a clear, glowing white, red-veined being appear before the side of my bed. I was in some sort of altered state to listen to this being and what was said to me and ......... I'll NEVER forget this, I "saw" this being while looking THROUGH my eye lids. I was viewing while my eyes were closed. It was not a dream as it seemed too *real*. I did not feel as through this being was going to hurt me but man o man were they yelling at me. And upset about the course of my life up to that point. It is very hard for me to remember but I think the general jest of the visit was to tell me I'd better shape-up and get my act together and life on track. Up until that point, in my twenties, I guess you could say I'd been drifting - kinda doing my own thing. I can only remember saying back to this being after they spent a few seconds yelling at me (!!!), "Okay, I'll do *it*". What "it" is.. I really haven't figured out yet! I guess to get my life in order. I just remember saying it aloud to this being by my bed.
ya know... I really feel like I have been blessed with many cool and unusual experiences in this life. I am glad I experienced them because now I know they can happen.

Nice post there Sily.... Ive had many times the "See thru eyelids" but have not thought to ask others if they have experienced that..... Anybody else?:)

William, I bow to you. icon_gott as I've only had the experience of looking through my eyelids once. I can STILL remember the feeling and it's been over 20 years since it's happened. It was like my sight was being *forced* wide open however I could feel my eyes closed. I know that doesn't make sense ......... but to see the being (alien being?) in front of me I had to *strain* ... like forced to see, but I could feel my eye lids closed but it wasn't a dream. It felt so unlike a dream or anything else I've had since.
So you have had the experience many times? Wish I could do that!

Sily, I can only guess we are seeing thru our 3rd eye and not really thru the eyelids????? But it feels like your looking thru the eyelids cause you can see everything in front of you without dreaming it. I dont do Caffeine much and not at night but if I did do some Caffeine before bed (cola etc) then I use to have the see thru eyelids then while laying in bed. Relaxed body alert mind....... I can tell the see thru eyelids is when your at a different brain wave......... Ive never tried to do it - it has just happened to me many, many , maybe hundreds of times.??

WIlliam and Sily: I have the seeing through "eyelid" thing too, especially right now. I sometimes see the room around me, but here lately it's like looking onto different places and people. It does happen at night when I am in bed but unable to sleep, William.
As to sightings, I have seen a lot of things in the sky. The coolest were these ovals of light zipping around at high speed. They were perfect shapes with no sort of "trail" behind them at all. I saw those late one night in Petaluma. They were going so fast I couldn't even say "There's one!" before the were gone.
I saw a large (heh, okay actually that is an understatement - more like freakin huge) triangle go over head.
I was with a friend at night driving along a ridge and something flew straight up out of the drop off with multi-colored lights. Unfortunately I was looking away and saw the lights go up out of the corner of my eye. My friend was looking the right at them and almost wrecked the car. We got out and looked around, and drove for awhile looking for what it was but of course found nothing.
When I was in Death Valley a couple of years ago (in July, no less, so it wasn't exactly tourist season) we went out at night to do some stargazing (well, for me it is ufo watching lol but to each their own). The moon was full and lit the desert up like it was noon, so nothing in the sky but there was a LOUD deafening hum coming from underground that made it impossible us to even talk to each other. We drove a couple of miles away and got out again. The hum was still there but not quite so bone rattling.
