The one in MA in Granville is the town next door to mine.  I didn't recognize any of the people's names.

Interesting article.  While this is minor, I disagree with the statement that "This was the first strong earthquake in the Midwest since 1968."  While it is true that the '68 quake was a bigger magnitude, the one in '87 still shook things up for hundreds of miles since it was a 5.2.  It always makes me wonder about the rest of the facts when I find even small discrepencies.  According to the USGS, "The largest historical earthquake in the Illinois basin region was a magnitude 5.4 event in November 1968 that cause damage in southern Illinois. In June 1987, a magnitude 5.2 also struck southern Illinois, and a magnitude 3.9 earthquake occurred in southern Indiana on December 7, 2000. More recently a magnitude 4.6 near Darmstadt, in extreme southwestern Indiana, occurred on June 18, 2002." http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/eqin...6/#summary

But even so, Kokomo is an interesting area.  Folks have wondered for years what is going on underground. Especially with the "Kokomo Hum". http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=91912&page=1  It seems logical to link together the hum, the strange lights, and the earthquake, doesn't it?  But the real question is - is this all a natural occurence?  And why the lie about the jets?

Oh, and I think the strange strings of lights look like a chain of bacteria or something.  Absolutely amazing.
