Student Tasered at John Kerry forum
#11
Perhaps this was a staged event to prove no one will help, it would seem that the US is so close to total control. For those enforcement officers to even use such a weapon of defense for one person, a student and only because of a question is proof of how much fear has been instilled. No one standing up to defend that boy demonstrates that every person in that room has been affected by the terrorism plan. I totally agree with Andrew X that would not happen here, citizens do not fear the enforcers. The best way to control is take away unity.

My aunt was traveling to take my cousin to college. She began to choke at a rest stop. Many people were there who could've helped. No one helped her. They all looked as her daughter cried for help after the Heimlich manuever failed. Finally, she was able to dislodge the object herself. She clearly remembered the people looking at her and just doing..... nothing. My cousin remembers people pointing at them.
If I were simple enough, I would say it was prejudice. Yet I know its so much more. Along the same lines of this scene.
There is a situation going on here in the US. Marshal Law can't be far behind. Its scary.

Andrea,

On a daily basis there are countless unreported events in which a stranger DOES jump in to help someone.  This will continue to happen.

I am very sorry no one helped your aunt.  That happens, too, for whatever reasons at the time.

I have seen the police tazer many individuals on the show, "Cops."  There is nothing pleasant about it.

I refuse to take this event with the person questioning Kerry as "the way things are" all the time.  I know they are not.  The imprint has happened.  The subconscious mind took it in.  It was shown all over the media repeatedly for maximum exposure.  Taking that situation and applying it to the future as a global example of what is coming is the intent of the imprint.  It's a very effective strategy.

I feel sorry for you Rick, and I worry about all good Americans regarding the social atrocities going on there now.  Given the kind of site you run makes me doubly concerned for your well being Rick.  You'd have no trouble continuing this site if you lived out here mate.  I'll say no more.

That's right Karen.  I'd LOVE to see them try such a stunt in any municipal building or hall in most any suburb here including Broadmedows, Sunshine, Fitzroy, Glenroy or Carlton.  Better yet, let them go to Cabramatta in NSW and give it a go... they'd be set upon and belted before they even tried it over there.  Any excuse to belt a cop in that place... let alone when they're misbehaving.  One thing I'd like to know is why all these kind of attacks by Police in the USA never seem to occur in the Bronx??  Let's see them try it there so we'll all know what they’re made of.  Long live and GOD bless the BRONX and all similar areas.  They're the only ones that will save America's arse in the end.

...and if this is a staged event Karen they'll have to stage many more before the rest of the world will swallow any of their lies.  The right people will never swallow it anyway, no matter how often it's staged, and that's what matters most.

Andrea, I find it hard to fathom that people just stood there playing with themselves while another human was in the process of possibly dieing.  That is a disgrace beyond belief.  May karma invoke her will on them all, and may them all learn their erroneous ways and rectify them before too long.

In my time Andrea I have saved many people's lives.  Sometimes I risked my own to do it, but I never wavered on actioning the situation.  Once I gave mouth to mouth to an OLD man who suffered a stroke and collapsed in a suburban street as he was walking to a Milk Bar to buy some bread and a newspaper.  Turned out in the end, without me knowing at the time, he was the father of a very good friend of my mother.  He would have died without doubt had I not been there.

At sea I once saved the lives of 7 children all under the age of 10 that were caught out on a small sinking sloop that they took out for a spin on the Bay.  Problem was it was not rated to take the weight of all of them... it was only 12foot long and 3foot wide, meant for only 2adults or 4 children of their age.  I was flying past on my boat on my way out to my fishing spot in the middle of a hot summer’s day.  Some God must have been shining on them because as soon as I was 100yards from them and approaching at 40mph the whole little boat/yacht disappeared under water and NONE of them had a life jacket on them.  Luckily also I another big mate of mine on the boat with me, and I immediately planed over to them and judged the stoppage of my boat to occur right on top of them all... from 40mph to 0mph in 5secs, and we were in the middle of all the panicking kiddies.  I reached over one side and leaned my arms down onto the water whereupon 2 of them grabbed one arm and 2 the other.  I pulled them all up and over the gunwale of my boat in 2seconds flat.  No sooner had I done that I turned to see my mate on the other side of my boat doing the exact same thing to the remaining 3 children.  IOW, from inevitable death to sitting safe on the deck of my boat in less than 10seconds of their little yacht sinking.  Now I have to say that if ever I had a good day in my life that was one of them.  We took them straight to shore and let them all off on Brighton Pier and continued onto our fishing spot as though nothing had happened.

But if I found myself in a situation were another person was choking in front of me, I can assure you that I'd do everything possible to help them as soon as I saw it happening.  I'm afraid that far too many people are living this life with NO HONOR Andrea.  Once honor is gone from within, so does humanity.

NOW no sooner do we see this outrage regarding the innocent tasered student, we are then subjected to another NEWS clip within 24hours of this one showing a woman being continually Tasered outside a nightclub/pub in the States.

She was Tasered so much that she eventually BLACKED OUT.  Once again, people just stood and watched it happen.  Though at least this time many of them showed genuine concern, but none were willing to do THE RIGHT THING about it and execute a citizen’s arrest on the criminally insane Police officer committing such atrocity.

Needless to say that this fat PIG of an officer has been stood down while they all go about working out how best to WHITE WASH him now.  Even if found guilty of gross abuse of power, all that'll happen to him is he'll be discharged and it's over.  Instead of a stiff jail sentence to let him and all his kind know what can happen to them when they lose the plot and become a law onto themselves.

I call upon and deeply urge the American authorities responsible for the investigation into this incident to do the right thing and sentence this insane person who was inappropriately allowed to conduct the affairs of a law enforcer to be found guilty of gross abuse of his powers and to be sentenced to at LEAST a 5 year term in jail with NO PAROLE.

Anything less would be an insult to all of America and Law enforcement the world over.  It's in your hands, do the right thing or pay the price yourselves in the long run.  Respect is earned, never forced.

Damn this.:X

Fracas at Kerry forum spurs controversy over free speech

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Andrew Meyer, the University of Florida student from Weston who tested the limits of free speech during an address Monday by U.S. Sen. John Kerry, walked out of jail Tuesday and into cyberspace history — an instant, if likely fleeting, celebrity.

Video clips of his fracas with university police officers flashed around the world, viewed more than 400,000 times. Tens of thousands of people debated the issue on Web sites, including more than 700 people on MiamiHerald.com. The American Civil Liberties Union and Amnesty International USA rose to his support.

“Shocking someone who was seemingly little more than a nuisance? That belongs in the Ripley’s of poor policing,” said Larry Cox, executive director of Amnesty International USA.

The degree to which Meyer, 21, was a nuisance or an opportunistic prankster — and the magnitude of the police response — stood at the center of the World Wide Web of discussion as he left jail, was hugged by his father and drove away in his lawyer’s sport-utility vehicle.

The charges: resisting an officer with violence and disturbing the peace by disrupting a school activity. His attorney said he would plead not guilty.

The bail: none — he was released on his own recognizance and made no public comment.

The response: immediate and wide, starting on campus and racing around the world.

UF President J. Bernard Machen described the event as “regretful” and said two officers involved in the incident were placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

“We’re absolutely committed to having a safe environment for our faculty and our students so that a free exchange of ideas can occur,” Machen said.

University police said in a news release that officers had been summoned by the forum’s sponsors to escort Meyer from the building, though organizers disputed that and said his microphone was cut off after he used a sexually explicit term.

Police added that Meyer was Tasered because he resisted when officers were attempting to place him in handcuffs. His lawyer, Robert Griscti, said it appeared Meyer was shocked after the cuffs were already on.

About 100 students gathered on campus Tuesday to plan protests, some wearing T-shirts denouncing police violence.

As the forum with Kerry came to a conclusion Monday, the Massachusetts Democrat agreed to answer a question from Meyer even though the Q&A period was supposed to be over.

Meyer launched into a lengthy, somewhat meandering series of questions that amounted to this:

Why did Kerry concede the 2004 presidential election? Why not impeach President Bush? Was Kerry a member of the same secretive society at Yale University as Bush?

Reminded he was to ask only one question, Meyer responded: “He’s talked for two hours. I think I can have two minutes.”

According to the official police report, Meyer was accompanied to the meeting by a woman who was there to film him and, as he took the microphone, he asked her: “Are you taping this? Do you have this? You ready?”

The report also said that, after the arrest, Meyer’s “demeanor completely changed once the cameras were not in sight. Meyer did ask, at one point, if the cameras were going to be at the jail.”

The Internet debate revolved around the relative balance between Meyer’s provocative behavior and the police response, with the majority of posters criticizing the officers.

“It was excessive force,” one person wrote on Facebook.com, the social networking site. “The Taser shouldn’t have been used.”

Others argued that Meyer’s actions were out of line and disruptive, and he got what he deserved.

“The kid was being obnoxious,” wrote another poster. “He had his chance to peacefully ask his question and not go into the tirade he went into.”

Kerry also came under criticism from people who thought he should have done more to take control of the situation and cool tensions.

During the encounter, as officers began grabbing Meyer’s arms, Kerry can be heard saying: “That’s all right; let me answer his question.” A little later, he offers again to answer Meyer’s “very important question.”

On Tuesday, Kerry released a statement.

“In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way.” Kerry said. “I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted.”

The more I read about this incident the more I feel it was a staged event. Perhaps a social experiment. In the political arena there could be several reasons to stage such a thing. When I recall  witnessing other taped tasing demonstrations it seemed the person who was tased was rendered unable to cry out with much strength. The fellow in Florida can clearly be heard yelling owww!owwww! with gusto.

Perhaps when they initially used the taser Mercy they had it set at TOO HIGH a setting rendering the victim too shocked to even scream. Perhaps that's why there were numerous deaths in the early days of tasering? Too many volts, not enough brains. If this was the case then it was obviously white washed and never mentioned in the media. So now they set them at a lower setting which basically makes you hurt like hell but can still scream... until you are tasered too much and then you go quiet from shock or black out completely.

Here is the NEWS clip I saw with the woman being repeatedly tasered at the nightclub till she lost consciousness:

Wow. That was a very disturbing video. Surprisingly, I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I am only about 20-30 minutes from Warren and I watch the news every morning and heard nothing about this. The incident with my aunt happened in Ohio also.

Anyway I look at it now Andrew I see it as a staged event to gauge reactions from the public. As far as the physical reaction to tasering I think it can have different affects on different people . In fact may even be different on the same person at different times. I was comparing it to demonstrations I had viewed and they may have been using low volts anyway whether they said so or not.

Andrea, I live in SW Ohio and the news story out of Warren was run several times yesterday. Again I think it was done to gauge public reaction. It has been said ,and I forget by whom, that "if it flies(is accepted) in Ohio then it will fly anywhere." The fact that she was handcuffed is disturbing.Perhaps a phone call to the sheriff of that county would be a way to express your dismay. Sheriffs are elected officials and would have more interest in public opinion.

Along these same lines there is the recent report of a pipebomb found in a public postoffice mailbox in Ft. Wright Ky. This is northeren Ky. just across the river from Cincinnati. I,again , feel this was set up in some way(programmed individual? perhaps) in order to do away with or change the way we use the mail services. Where I live these public mailboxes have all but disappeared and the ones that are available have cameras posed on them. When you go to the post offices and enter the building there are cameras that do the eye scan thing.

I do agree that the student was a set up MN, but the clip from Andrew X is a different story. I can not explain in short but for the past two years the earths vibrational frequency has changed and astrologically speaking when Pluto changes in January, this type of situation will increase.
If you are to naturally go with the higher vibration, this type of event will be looked at in a whole different frame of mind, there are many purposes of this.
The victims that you will witness will be those with the denser energy, dense referring to heavier body and mindlessness. For this woman to actually be able to receive that continual tasered energy shows that she is affected by synthetic energy-amphetamines, because she continues to fight even after it is over. The next important thing is the exposure of the officer and the media frenzy, exposure is important for the truth to be reveled.
Therefore it is extremely important on how each person observes with the eyes and how you choose to absorb the energy, because exposure is something that will be in the everyday media for the next couple of years, we are truth seekers and our what we have been asking for is about to be received.
Interesting times!
