The 13th Sign
#11
I heard that Native Americans say the 13th is the spider. The spider weaves it all together.

MC, that’s cool that Karen wrote to you already. It would be interesting to see you do someone’s horoscope. Cool

Just a guess, but I dont think they would name the 13th sign a Dragon, but maybe something like an Eagle or Phoenix, or ??? What is your guess?   Something to mask what it really stands for.  Maybe as a joke an erect P*n*s?

I did a little searching and came up with this.

Quote:The 13th sign is known as Arachne the Spider. This arises from the Druidic calendar containing 13 signs, where Arachne is contained between Taurus and Gemini. In this tradition the Sun enters Arachne on May 16th and leaves it on June 13th. It is said to be the sign of the “Psychic”. If you would like to know more the little book “The Thirteenth Zodiac The Sign of Arachne” by James Vogh Mayflower Books 1979 is most fascinating.

The Spiders Web is another term for the Dragons Lair and the Spider as Arachne is another symbol of the evil power of the Dragon. So as i said, Ophiuchus [Serpent Man Holder] has its equivalent symbol that the Illumined Ones use in whatever culture.

William, you really made me laugh :big grin:

The Spider is a representation of the reptilian goddess for the Hopi Indians. It also represents the "web" of the Illuminati throughout the world.I'll write about the zodiac, first chance I get.

Well, some legends say the world was born on the back of a turtle........   I keep wanting to bring up a Turtle here,  Dont know why....  Maybe im slow? :)

That's not a legend William :)

The entire universe is in the shape of a torus. The pattern on the back of a turtle is a natural representation of a torus in 2 dimensional form.It is actually a 7 colored torus which laid out in 2 dimensional form, gives the appearance of a turtle. This is where this whole thing with the turtle came about.

This sounds a bit confusing, why would the spider be the representation of the reptilian goddess? Why not just use a reptilian symbol for a reptilian?

It is the same as the Freemasons using the Goat of Mendes as their symbol of Baphomet or Baal, who was a Reptilian God.The Goat of Mendes was developed into a finer symbol by Eliphas Levi and it fit geometrically perfectly into an Inverted Pentagram.

Moon child, thanks for the reply, Ive heard of the Turtle in legends and now I understand more!

Ya know, the 13th sign could be a cross between two, like say an Octopus!  They have tentacles that represent spider webs or centrally directed branches.   But octo means 8....

Main Entry: octa-
Variant(s): or octo- also oct-
Function: combining form

 any of a genus (Octopus) of cephalopod mollusks that have eight muscular arms equipped with two rows of suckers;
