I've read articles by Philip and I think he's on track. I've also been following the web bot project and it predicts there will be an untimely demise for millions by 2012, brought upon by some combination of pandemics, economic collapse, breakdown of health care and unknown energies from space.
It says this year extra-terrestrial aliens presence and/or warfare possible.
I don't know if you've been following the web bot but so far most of it's predictions have come true. So anyway you look at it the Mayans were correct when they said there will be many disasters because of the solar maximum in 2012.

I think I read somewhere in expansions q & a section that there was a deliberate mixup with the calendar at some point during the 18th centruy (I think). He mentioned that the real 2012 would be in 2015.

There's too many sources pointing to the solar maximum in 2012 to dismiss it. It would be like someone who dismisses UFO reports without weighing the evidence.

That's like saying all such evidence, as it were, is accurate without question. It's not.
  As for UFO's they are exactly that  Unidentified Flying Objects.
 
I don't totally dismiss 2012.
 
As I stated... it is my view that the 2012 hype,disinfo and deception is a build up for the New World Order  as depicted within the Denver International Airport murals.
 
 
 
I don't buy into the 2012 conspiracy as an accurate predictor  of the end of days or the beginning of a new era by nature.
 
 By the machinations, manipulations and hype of the TPTB.....  yes.It's
 
their ways to a means of supporting the installation of the New World Order.
 
 
This includes the presentation of the "aliens as saviors" and/or  "aliens as enemy " programming.

It sounds like you're trying to include too many things into 2012. I'm talking about all the sources that show the solar maximum will occur then.
