The Power of Colors
#1
Has, or does anyone out there use 'colors' in their life? What I mean is...has anyone used colors for healing or for making their life better in any way? I was just wondering what success stories are out there (or unsuccessful).  Personally, I believe in the power of colors, but I know there is still a lot I don't know or understand about them.  I have used copper to heal a fractured bone in my arm, and I am presently using it to try and heal my teeth (I detest dentists :paranoid:). I also use green in my lungs since I have slight asthma and I smoke occasionally - and I am happy to report that after having to use my inhaler for over 10 years, I no longer need to use it. I should add that I am allergic to dogs, which triggers my asthma attacks, and now I have a dog of my own for the first time in my life, and I am able to go and stay by my sister's house for days at a time (she has 2 dogs).

Anyway, I would like to know what others are using or have used in their lives.

DT,

What a great post you have started here, color therapy is the greatest of all healing. Congratulations on overcoming those issues and with color. When you look at the colors in your life it really reflects you mind pattern.

I have a house that you could only call ordinary, so having a husband that is extraordinarily talented, he is a Cancer and loves food and friends, I love to cook so there is our first common thread. The kitchen was from the middle ages, he and his mates did some renovating, and now our kitchen is beautiful – the colors, well because of combination planetary signs and the fact that you first walk into the living area on entering, which is part of the kitchen – I chose a beautiful sea green, with a marble look bench top in a slightly darker shade, we have titanium oven and fridge with natural wood furnishings, and on the dinning table I have a big glass fruit bowl with 100 Aventurine tumbled stone crystals in it.

The idea – green reflects the heart chakra, our kitchen is the heart of our life, and is in the central position of the house. Because we have a constant flow of visitors, the green creates everyone to feel welcome and relaxed. In Australia food, friends and laughter is the main ingredient of our life style.

This was all done within our budget and has made a big difference to what we are ‘digesting’ in our life, I have purposely created colored rooms for each member of our family to help with their individual mind-pattern.

Hi Astrojewels,

Your house sounds wonderful - at least your kitchen does.icon_2thumbs Now I'm going to have to use the techniques from "The Secret" in order to get into the home of my dreams.

Yes, I'm still working on my 'colors.' I know that there is a lot more to it than what I know, and I want to understand it all. I just wish I knew about all of this a couple of years ago before my sister died. Maybe I could have gotten her to believe in it and she would still be here. But then again...maybe it was just her time to leave for a better place. But it would have been nice to at least have tried...:tear:

HUGS DT!!!!!! Try not to regret what you did or didn't do. At least you know for now what you can do. I'm sure your sister did not hold it against you in regards to her life. We do all we can do and probably all we are meant to do. I think people definitely do leave at the right time and I know they go to better places until they return here or to other timelines again.

Astrojewels: I do think your kitchen sounds awesome!!! Seagreen looks pretty and its awesome to hear about the aventurine fruitbowl. Medieval feel sounds interesting too!!!

I think we can also always ask Oversoul what colors to choose if we want to enhance the energies of a place or ourselves. I am only in charge of the colors in my room and what I wear at least for now.

Double hugs DT.

PP,

I think I need to clarify – medieval look. The homes I visited in America have refrigerators that color coordinate the kitchen, in Australia we have free standing refrigerators, I love the stainless steel appliances, but they take full time care to keep clean so the titanium finish looks similar but easy to clean. It is not medieval, but a mixture of modern and crafted, LOL.

I love hand crafted furniture, always more expensive but it is actually created by a person and not a machine, tradesman are talented artists, their love for wood or metal enhances the beauty of the piece.

Depending on how you feel, you can be creative in your room by changing the color of your bed cover, curtains or pictures on the wall. If you want to quickly change the feel of a room, get a big glass vase – fill it with tumbled crystals in the color that you want healing from. Tumbled crystals are cheap and easy to find, you need at least 20 in a vase, if you need to stimulate communication – blue, love –pink, etc, the power of the crystal and oversoul will always guide you to what color you need at that time.

DreamTime,

Could you explain further how you used the color copper to heal a fractured bone in your arm? Did you heal it completely without any medical treatment? How did you decide to try copper?

Almost everyone, of course, dislikes having to go to the dentist. Please keep us updated on your effort to improve your dental health.

When you say you use green in your lungs for the asthma condition, do you mean you visualize green in the lungs for a certain amount of time each day?

Hi Rebel,

Well, when Anubis was a puppy, he was always underfoot. I was not used to having a dog around, so I was always tripping over him. One time I didn't move fast enough and I fell over him hitting my forearm smack on the edge of an end-table. My arm immediately swelled up to about the size of a grapefruit and turned all kinds of nasty colors - not to mention that it hurt like hades. You really couldn't miss that is was broken. It was so bad that Richard got the heebie-jeebies. Well, this was late on a Friday night, and I didn't want to go to the emergency room as I don't like doctors (almost as much as I don't like dentists ). Besides, emergency rooms cost a lot of money. Anyway, I remembered that in the Healer's Handbook, it said that copper was for bones, so I started seeing my arm bone turning to solid copper.

That next week, after talking to some relatives who do not believe in self-healing and who were all telling me I was crazy for not going to a doctor, I decided to go to a clinic. When I got in there, the doctor took one look at my arm and begin telling the nurse to get casting materials ready. Then he took an x-ray and was completely floored to see that the bone was mended. I told him what I was doing, and he said: well, there are still a lot of things that we don't know about.  Now, 2 years later, all I have left to remind me of it, is a slight bump on my forearm. (So I guess I wasn't perfect at it. :slywink:)

As for my teeth...well I have some broken teeth in my mouth and I am working hard trying to 'heal' them. Every time I brush my teeth, I visualize myself brushing with liquid copper. I also visualize copper wrapping around my teeth every time I think about them during the day. While they have not 'grown' back yet, I swear that the breaks seem to be smaller than they used to be. Although, to be honest, I don't know if it may just be wishful thinking on my part. I do know that they have not gotten any worse, and no cavities have set in.

As for my lungs, every night, I 'breath in' green and visualize my lungs filling up with green (oxygen), healing and strengthening them. I then let the green flow through the rest of my body healing anything that may need it. Then I blow out the air and visualize all the bad 'stuff' coming out. I do this at least 3 times in a row. Also, if during the day, my breathing seems a little 'off,' I will do the same thing. It wasn't instantaneous, but I can proudly say that I no longer need my asthma medication after taking it for years.  I should clarify that I breath in through the nose, hold the breath for a slow count of 10, then breath out through the mouth.

One additional thing we did to heal DT’s arm was use a radionics machine.

Visualizing bright medium green flow through every cell of my body along with the green N archetype helped me heal viral fevers in less than 3 days.

Color Coordination also works numerologically for me. On 4 numbered days (4,13, 22) of each month, my electric Royal Blue shirt attracts a bit of good luck. Light pastel shades on 5 and 7 numbered days works well too.

Visualizing bright light pink around myself seems to cause more than usual joyful behaviour in my baby son.

And violet has too many effective uses. Breathing Violet in and around my aura makes other people very defensive and they seem to blurt out whatever is in their minds.

The one major disappointment in the application of colors has been using brown for reality manifestation. Brown grounds and stabilizes my emotions very quickly but I have never been able to manifest using the brown traingle or even using brown around my desired scene in physical reality. Affirmations, Holo-Creations, Simple Visualizations all work for simple realities but I cannot comprehend why the brown is failing, it should work to some extent atleast in theory.

Iqhunk,
I asked myself that same question, I am sure that many people will disagree with what I say. I found that Brown is not a naturally formed color of the spectrum, searched our visible world to see where brown was in nature because that is where true color exists.
Could not find a book that told me brown grounds, or that brown should be used to balance the chakra system, all authors of color therapy never recommend brown.
The base chakra holds red, and it is said that below that is brown, but the chakras actually shadow down from red, deep red, then to a brown/red around the ankles and feet, because brown is a color created from red.
Brown and gray hold two important objectives for color healing and the electromagnetic field; gray is found around the body when the individual is blocking issues, therefore issues that you just do not want to face. Brown actually holds on to energies, so say you put brown around the throat chakra, which is light blue, this will put a hold on those energies, therefore create the individual to become too talkative etc, (so you want to be heard but not listen).
I found myself always feeling sick when I put my entire body in brown, it would create a very dense energy for me.
I could see that the importance of brown was simply for moving forward, because it is only held in the feet/ankle area, and logically you must let go of something in order to move on, and the only place where brown is placed in nature is beneath your feet; the earth.
