The cycle of the Bull...
#1
Are you feeling a little flat, low energy and maybe a little jaded with each day? Besides the energy that is being pulsed globally, the sun entered Taurus on the 19th of April, let me start by saying ‘Happy Birthday” to all the Taurus bulls here on the forum…

Aries is a sign that lifts and embraces, it provides so much energy and Taurus is the sign that brings us back down the mountain, mercury is currently on a cycle of up and down retrograde right through to July; so our communication will be a bit confusing, mars has changed into Aries, there are no other major changes through the cycle of Taurus. Back to the flat energy… Taurus is known for placid, practical but slow decisive energy, resisting change and holding on to all things in the physical and non-physical.

If you did utilize the energy of Aries for personal goals, clean out the old to make room for the new, right now the enthusiasm behind that goal will seem deflated, just not happening quickly enough and perhaps questioning do you really want that goal/objective in the first place?

The cycle of Taurus works like a ‘handbrake’ you are trying to get going, but being held back, but it is not actually that, Taurus is the first Earth element, it is the time of slow change, autumn in the south, spring in the north.

It provides the energy to analyze your routine life, to plod over the changes that you wanted with Aries, to scrutinize each detail because Taurus is in no hurry, you will get nothing done quickly during this cycle, so you might as well test your patience and enhance your skills with tolerance and acceptance.

Be cautious with ‘gifts received’ Taurus is known for its sharp ‘trading ability’ therefore if you do receive during this cycle, do not consider it free, it is a debt, whether it is spiritual or material, you will owe for receiving, this will be seen throughout the global financial dilemma, many changes will begin to surface before the 20th of may when Gemini enters.

The only way to stay balanced during this cycle is all areas that involve Mother Earth; gardening, hiking, going to the mountains, becoming involved with helping animals, clean up your yard, plant some new buds, work with the energy that is there, rather than against it and the goals you had only a month ago will progressively begin to flower…and stay grounded.

Me too angel. Maybe we should start up a gardening section:). It has been soooo beautiful in my corner of the world the past couple of weeks.. the temps aren't always  what I would desire but is is spring and the temps in spring fluctuate. Here we have  40 degree drops in one day and the converse as well. The redbud trees  are in bloom, crabapples, magnolias and serviceberry along with many spring bulb flowers and wild flowers. Speaking of bulb flowers ..I  planted hundreds of daffodils along the property at the road. These would bloom in sync with the redbuds and bluebells ...it is a sight to see especially after a long grey winter. Anyway  I walk my dog every morning and go down to the road ,out the gate and start my walk. Over the past couple of years I noticed ,or at least thought I did , that my daffodils weren't as abundant as I had thought they should be. I  became suspicious but because people thought I was being paranoid and just mistook how many I planted, I let it go. Well, the other  day my neighbor caught someone digging my daffodils!! The man's whole back end of his van was full of my daffodils! Apparently he has also been stealing the other neighbors daffodils as well .

Two days ago we had the most beautiful rainbow ,make that a double rainbow, I'd ever seen. They were a complete and perfect full arc and had the deepest most saturated color had I have seen in  rainbows.  The birds were singing so much  it was almost rowdy:)

So I heard DT. My son was up there on a job and  commented on the weather and lack of green compared to here. Cheer up ..:) Spring will come  ..it always does. I'm @ an hour from Cincinnati and they greened up and bloomed out a good two weeks before we did . They also have a good deal more concrete than we do too.

MN, I know this is not funny, but it is just so totally weird, what kind of person would do that? And ah the birds, the melody is like heaven, we have all our cooler weather birds arriving now and the tunes are just wonderful.

Glad to hear about the gardening, wish I could say the same but we are having some frosts which are slowly turning the dirt into patchy grass! Still no rain just picture perfect sunny days, 7 days a week…DT how much snow are you still getting, does it ever warm up there?

I don't know AJ. It is totally weird and that's one reason I tought I was imagining it.lol! I can't see this  stretch of road  from the house due to the woods between. I planted them for others enjoyment but not to take though I don't mind  them picking a bloom or two. What really upset me is that he or someone has been digging a very elderly lady's flowers that she has been tending  for several decades. She still gets out and gardens and picks up litter that skanks drop.

AJ, I'm convinced birdsong helps living things grow:D

Yes that is just not nice stealing from the elderly, especially with all those years of hard work.

Totally true about the birds, and don’t forget the bees.. I remember sitting my children down from a young age, and teaching them about the birds and the bees, and this talk has nothing to do with sex!

I have analyzed the seasons all these years living in the bush, and different birds ‘begin’ different seasons, some birds stimulate the hibernation frequency for the deciduous trees, and vice versa for the spring time.

Hope you don't mind me adding to your info on the Bull I just find it awesome that we are having a Sun/Moon conjunction in Taurus this coming month.
I found this bit of information most interesting, from Jeff Jawer, who is an awesome Astrologer, this is his take on the conjunction, and Pluto influence on it:

The New Moon in Taurus is one of the most fertile times of the year. The union of the Sun and Moon in this fixed earth sign connects us to the delights of our senses and to the joys of the physical world. Our instincts find the honey, the sweet stuff of pleasure, self-worth and money that make life more enjoyable. Pluto, the God of Wealth, in a creative trine to the New Moon rewards those willing to cut their attachment to the past and experience more deeply the riches of the present.
