Time Change
#21
why is it that people have this perception of time and go against the form of it in the sense that it is longer than the small fragments they break it up in wouldn't an hourglass be a time measurement as well, befrore you know it people will be ticking right and left to time

Why is it? Because "time" is how we were brought up. It is how we live in this world. It may not be true or correct, but it is all we know (most of us at least). And yes, an hourglass is also another way to tell "time." It used to be the only way...long, long, ago.

Diajin,
To gain awareness to the whole self, it is necessary to become knowledgeable in both the physical and non-physical concepts; because that is part of the reason we have a human body. It would be nice to ignore the demands that physical world puts upon us, but it is necessary for our spiritual bodies to share these two collectively. It is not the soul body that cries tears, it is the physical. It is not the soul body that enjoys the sensation of skin to skin, this can only be experienced in the physical. Yet it is the soul energy that allows you to experience the ‘feeling’ of love or hate, it is the balance of both that brings tolerance and understanding to life, and part of that understanding is the human pattern of time, time is a requirement for humans to stay focused and yes, also in control.
There is no compulsory law that you must follow time, if you want to sleep during the day, you can, if you do not want to work, you can. If you do not want it to be Thursday then let it be any day you wish. An hour glass is just as restrictive as the time on a ticking clock.
