 Sure would like to know your take on this Lunar eclipse.Your views are always multi leveled and provide many insights for me.

Sorry for the delay, I have been a little distracted!

If we look at this one in particular, it happened late because I rise very early, usually about 5am, was taking my puppy out for a pee and thought what is that?, looked like a big UFO parked in front of the moon, we have lots of activity here so strange sights are not so strange, I checked my ephemeris and found it was a lunar eclipse. This distraction took me away from this important occasion!  

Lunar eclipses happen regularly, they are always good for ritual, and many societies use them to conjure up energy onto the earth, because they are the connection of sun-moon.

On this day the moon was in the sign of Pisces, sun in Virgo, mercury in Virgo, Venus in Virgo and mars in Virgo. The node is still in Pisces, so we have 2 Pisces and 4 Virgo, Pisces and Virgo are opposite signs on the astrological wheel.

Therefore on this day, the nodal cycle already being in Pisces north and Virgo south, and then we have the sun in Virgo moon in Pisces, hope you are keeping up!

The whole energy is about opposing forces, no wonder I have been distracted!

The rituals purpose would have endorsed the already illusion pattern of the Pisces Node (until Jan 08), my view, you will see one news headline and then another to contradict it, and the same with day-to-day living, so people you might have trusted will turn against you, it is a game of intellect (Virgo) and emotion (Pisces).

There will be more celebrities and politicians looking red faced but the general population will accept it (Pisces puts up with lots) so now is the time to bring out the garbage, and the sad thing is that families will suffer because this will bring psychotic behavior with the younger generation as they will be able to push more drugs that ‘disable’ the mind and the emotions.

The way to override this energy, you have to use the perception that Pisces gives to all, that is not questioning what you know to be fact, and think carefully before reacting, allow the analytical energy of Virgo to break down circumstances.  

So any situation that comes into your life, look at it carefully, is it real or is it a manipulation to look real, ask yourself why, and what is the purpose.

It is very hard to deal with the energy of Pisces and Virgo combined, many things will seem like ‘they can not get any worse, and then they do’. However all those who analyze and trust themselves will come out of it fine. The positive of this combination will increase our individual soul energy, stay compassionate (Pisces) but aware (Virgo) hope this helps, because you have helped me work something out that I was having a bit of trouble with. Let me know if any of you have been dealing with anything like this?

Dear Astrojewels!! Thanks for that!! Its highly interesting that there were four planets in Virgo and two in Pisces and that the two signs are opposites on the charts. I heard there is going to be another eclipse this month as well...unless I am mistaken..I read it somewhere two weeks ago and I found that interesting.

What do eclipses symbolically mean?

I found the intensity of this phenomena was heightened on Thursday this week.

Thank you for your views they always are helpful to me..I figured you were distracted and hoped this would get your attention.Yes ,I have been dealing with the above mentioned issues(like for all of my life :lol: as I have a Pisces moon) that popped up  @ 7 days before this astrological event. From my experience this tends to happen with major events like this.Also I believe Pluto went direct on the 4th so this added to the mix.I found an interesting article concerning this eclipse and will send you the link if you like.Just let me know. It had elements which I had to ignore but the basic interpretation I found insightful.

 Lucky you ..you have a puppy.:D My dog , my best buddy of 18 years ,died on the 4th of June.I'm still not through it but have begun to search for a puppy.

Also ,I  thought you might like this little story,We recently celebrated my grandmothers 100- something birthday.About 30 years ago my grandmother walked to her maibox which is on the road . Her driveway is probably close to a quarter of a mile long and at the end of it ,at the road, is a cattle crossing or gate inbedded in the drive.When my grandmother walks anywhere there is always a parade of animals following along behind her. Dogs ,cats,geese , goats and whatever other foundling she has taken in.They know the routine and look(ed) forward to their morning walk. This was a day in February when there was no snow to speak of but it was rather cold.. @ 30 degrees. She slipped and tripped  on the cattle crossing and broke her hip. When my uncle arrived 3 hours later he found her covered in animals that lay on top of  her to keep her warm. She recovered  quickly and without major problems. She was very active until @2 years ago when her cat was killed.

Mercy Now: That's amazing!!!! Your grandmother is a special woman!! I find that awesome about how these animals were so loyal to her that they knew how to care for her. :o) They also protected her and helped her survive when she needed it the most!!

Thanks PP. Yes, she is a special woman and has always been an inspiration to me. This is another little story about her .She attends church occasionally.She would probably attend more often but she no longer drives so she doesn't like to ask others. Anyway she has a reputation for getting up and leaving  in the middle of a sermon if she doesn't agree with the message.lol!! I just love that !!Sometimes if the weather is nice she will start to walk home which is about 4 miles away.And she always let's the minister know exactly why she didn't agree with him/her.She used to tell me that she only goes because she does believe in God just not in ministers but  she didn't want the townspeople to  think she/we were complete heathens.lol!!

Mercy Now: I commend her!! She is bold for speaking her mind and not afraid to tell it like it is..she will express whether she approves or disapproves..hence giving/showing her power over what can be discussed/corrected by the ministers.

I am trying to work on better /effective/honest/open communication but only as Oversoul guides me to it....at the moment, all I do is just write whatever I feel...and I channel unexpressed energies through current recreational activities...I will get closer to saying what is needed to be said...

You are an awesome granddaughter(well I know you are more than just a granddaughter hehe) and I'm sure you have learned some great lessons from her...and because of her and your parents..and of course ultimately yourself(via the lessons you agreed to learn with these people on the Oversoul levels), you are who you are.....:o)

Sounds like your grandmother was a very special woman and maybe someone who incarnated well before her time! She sounds like a bit of a rebel, leaving the church half way through, what a women, she must have inspired you to really be independent and do all you can with your life. That is fascinating how the animals took care of her, animals are so special and they have this individual way to love and make everyone feel good. I am sorry for you loss, I do know how you feel, a few years back we lost our girl, we had her for 16 years, when her time came it was absolutely devastating to me. They become so much more than your friend.
