Viagra-mail terrorism
#31
Astrojewels, I think you have a point here.

the digital email communication with the upcoming global "English" can make us poor in both grammar understanding and expression style.

i.e. for certain personal communication I do still prefer a handwrited paper letter instead of a SMS or email.

Octahedron,
I believe all things have a positive/negative; the positive is my generation is more connected to my daughter’s generation, so parents/children are much closer than ever before because of the ‘mobile phone’ but it is also a restriction to the younger generation because they do not have as much independence, as they are so closely monitored by their parents.
The other positive is no matter where you are you can call for help, so that is a bonus, yet the negative, is communication has lost its face value like you say. People, especially those who have authority have no skills in confrontation, people are becoming spineless. People are hired and fired through email, or relationships end through text, you have no explanation or no right to appeal.
Writing is a language that has a magical energy, and although modern times may seem to be more negative, the upside is we are regaining our ancient ability to communicate without words, either written or spoken. We are slowly recapturing our communication skills through feelings and knowing. I can only speak for myself and those in my life, I ‘know’ when my family has a problem, I ‘know’ just by energy and I do not need words to confirm what I feel. The subtle feelings that connect us all are regaining power.

Astrojewels,

I think I'm more "pessimistic".

About 10 years ago; I was an enthousiastic promotor of most of digital technology.

But the mistake I made was; I was not aware of the unethical and idiotic behaviour

of people using them.

It's not the technology that is evil; it's the dumb use without feeling for esthetics and reason and beauty. It's all short-time and evil-driven.

i.e. I'm sitting here in a library with a teenage guy of 14 next to me, playing computergames and Rap-music; the sound is hard and he uses a headphone and excuses me for his wild behaviour and by-sounds. I said watch for your ears, otherwise you will be deaf soon. He said, at home the sound is much harder.

Well, I said, then you have to pray for yourself.

:shhh:

Yes, octahedron you are very correct, we are in a rapid spiral of technological growth and it is individual choice whether to accept or not, I really feel this present time is a test to our free will and the choices we make now will reflect greatly on the larger scale.
It is hard to get children at that age to take any notice, sometimes when I am with my daughter at her school, I look at the children, all innocent and protected, giggling and just having fun, and I think about how in a short few years their life will have different concerns, and how their innocence will be gone. I am 95% optimistic, but things like this can make me feel pessimistic.

Octaghedron,

I think that all they want is MONEY.  If they wanted to clutter the airways they'd be using viruses.

They simply play on what's on the mind of most men... sex.  They realize that most men think that the only way to have good sex is to have a sexual organ the size of those they see in pornographic videos, which are far from the size of the norm.

Personally I think that if you need to enlarge yourself in an effort to make it, or if you need medications to keep you doing it longer than you can, then perhaps your sexuality is not your biggest problem... your mind is.  Go get that fixed first and then you won't need any of this crap.

But yeah, they're doing it just to make money because they know too well that when it comes to men and sex it all boils down to about 'knob level'.:big grin:lolol

Well, .... the EXTRA problem for me is, I see this not as technological growth at all, AND individual choice is just shrinking very rapidly.

I see, this kind of technology even gives worse products, not working at all, unreadable user manuals, no service, LOWERING living standards, LESS efficiency, no technical support available, hidden invoices,  and above all:

Many products and software are complete idiotic comprehended suites where only 1% of the functionality is used (if it works).

No, I think it is also conspiracy to tell us digital technology is cost-effective, while in actuality it is making the entire society dumb where people behave like TeleTubbies.

No, I disagree.  This is to simple or joking.

If it was true, than I'll start my own viagra-business tomorrow.

The start-up costs are immense, and competititon is everywhere (if there is a market) and is their really such a BIG market ?

My opinion: No, just look at the business reports of Pfizer Inc.

Yes octahedron,
Take away the ‘thinking’ process of a human, and then they are totally dependent on technology to ‘think’ for them. I am not bagging out teens here but I have noticed more and more, if you go to a store, these young people who are only working part time and are full time students, can not give change of $20 from their heads! They can not work out simple math to what an item cost to the change that must be given.
I call education the ‘school that takes away the independent thinker’ because most teachers do not understand they are not teaching the child, the government is, so they are the messengers of that language and technology is part of it.

I see the same here. Youth is evolved to TeleTubbie-sapiens;

Teachers here seem only to want to be "politically correct" and behaving and clothing like the youth they teach to;  I see more people older than 40 behaving like dolls.

Octahedron,
This is an example of what I always say about negative/positive, the youth born today are so technological and academically intelligent, but many have no skills in common sense.
Having one child that has been through the entire process of school, she is 19, then my other being still in grade school. I can not tell you how many times I have had to speak to teachers, it is a good primary school but the mind control of the teachers is unseen to the general public, and I never let particular things go unchallenged.
I do not believe in taking children out of the general population, keeping them at home in a bubble, they need to learn social skills and you can only learn by experience.
Say you have 100% of one generation, only 5-10% are open to truth, the other 90% are drawn into the illusion of life, mind control and manipulation. Yet, at the end of the day, it is the adults that must connect with that small percentage and become a whole, because the children are our future, and they will always be the greatest target.
When I was young and at high school I would be told my thoughts were so up in the clouds I was touching space, it is only during youth you can perform certain ‘mind splitting’, and the ultimate goal is to split 100% of those minds that hold the future, make them robotic and you have an entire population of unquestionable slaves.

I see your point Octa, I can't deny what your saying.  I would have thought there'd be money it though given the medias coverage and mention of it.  Perhaps these so-called new sales outlets of it are owned by the big guys anyway to give the illusion of competition so others don't bother starting up.  This happens in alot of other industries especially the beverage industries.

There are so many spammers out there though sending so much garbage that to poeples email address's worldwide that it may well be that there's a range of intents behind them.  As in some are triggres, others genuine sales spills and some are sent by people that have nothing better to do with their time hoping for some feedback and chitchat to result fo them.  But no doubt there'd those out there using this medium to trigger and program the unexpecting... the majorities IOW.

..and Karen... your'e not wrong about seemingly intelligent young people serving behind the counters down here nowadays and not being able to add 2 numbers up and subtract them from an even number most of the time; even as in the paper bill we pay them with.  I can't beleive it when I see it as I've already down the calculation it in my mind in an instant.  Old school though am I.
